I literally just got off a phone call from a buddy i haven't spoken to in a while. We both have had Camaros, mine was a FIFTY anniversary 2ss, and he still has an Orange 1 LE. Then this video popped up as we were talking about the ZL1 1LE that hit the Nuremberg Ring and broke records. So sad chevy has discontinued the Camaro.
Tell your buddy to send his Orange one to LMR and turn it up. Won’t be disappointed!!

ZL1 1LE suspension doesn’t change with driving modes. It doesn’t have magnetic ride. It has Multimatic Dssv shocks and coil over struts.
Mr Fereday was explaining how much stiffer they ride compared to the normal ZL1 that has magnetic ride. Hope that makes sense.

“Right away you put this thing in even touring mode, the stiffness of the suspension…” um, doesn’t change because it only affects exhaust note and shift points. 😬

The ZLE trim only has one suspension mode bc it's not connected to any controller. So the drive modes can't change the damper stillness. Those front springs are 2.5x the rate of a ZL1's spring. Kool....
So we can change only exhaust modes with this 😅
What is the issue with the oil pump ? In the ZL1? LMR?
problems with o rings installing new pumps were the ones with failures more recent and keeping the pickup at the right height and the stock pump is also a Melling I believe.
how does this car do a 6.76, and my zl1 made 740whp 700 wtq and on a tire had done a 6.74 not spinning

This is not a weekend warrior car and engine temps are a big concern for track specific cars.
The easy fix for the temps is NOT using Mobil1 oil and the factory fill ULV ATF. I run my ZLE at Road Atlanta flat out for 30-45 minutes at a time. See the videos I have shared on this.
