- I bought the shifter on Amazon after doing a lot of video reviewing and research on clone shifters because the stock one rattles it is so loose it causes a lot of miss shifts. So I decided to put this video together on the shifter I bought no modifications are needed take the old one off put this new one on very simple but I’ll take you through it all.

I’m definitely buying this I have such a hard time switching from 2nd to 1st and 1st to 2nd and switching to neutral it always gets stuck

Shifts wayyy better, neutral is and will always be an issue with these bikes but it’s finds it a lot easier
Mods and upgrading parts/ performance are two different things… when u upgrade it’s easy when u mod u have to weld bang and cut to fit… it’s a difference

I feel like these bike have internal shifting issues, but as far as neutral it’s most certainly helped with that when I try to shift from 1st to neutral I have to rock it back and forth my bike has been on my porches wrapped up for winter but not much of a winter so videos might start back up soon I appreciate your comments and hope I can answer any questions I can.

Will this specific one also fit perfectly on 2023 Groms??
Mine is a 2022 so I’m sure they used the same engine and components it hasn’t changed in the last four models on difference is probably the body.
WTF? ......no support bracket behind that shifter?.......you need one otherwise you bend or break that shaft your hosed!
Break the shaft how hard do you switch gears lmao their are many motorcycle dirt bike and quad with out shift linkage
This was actually sage advice. The chance of damaging anything is quite low while changing gears or even stomping through them. However, if the bike takes a fall on it’s left side that gear shaft will bend resulting in expensive transmission repairs. Still for folks who want to get rid of the OEM linkage gear shifter, there is an aftermarket solution. They sell a bracket that collars around the shift shaft, to support the shaft and keeps it from bending in the event of a wreck. There are UA-cam videos on it you can check it out. Regards.
