We need a tour of the Cosmere, hosted by Hoid. To give people a demonstration of how varied, colourful ,and wonderful all of the cultures and magic systems are.
The emperor's new groove clip was just: chef's kiss! Also, while the windrunner roller coaster is obvious, and the Threnodite haunted house is a must, I'm going with the Lightsong's dream rapids ride.
Smaller theme ideas to fit around the big rides people are suggesting: A talking display of Nightblood, kinda like the MrPotatoHead on the boardwalk at Disney. Notes from Hoid written in hidden spots on walls CHOUTA Stands!
Definitely need a monorail called the BookTube. Failing that, a rollercoaster that is mostly just steadily carting you up a giant hill, ending in a giant plunge--the Sanderlanche, of course.
@@TheCosmerenaut It makes absolutely no financial or business sense for Dragonsteel to actually turn it into a park. Disney has been struggling with its park business. Disney! It would be a great way for Brandon to turn a lot of money into a little money.
Idk about rides, but I know there needs to be a disney style fireworks show. But instead of tinkerbell zip lining to the castle, she's replaced with Vin and blue lasers aimed at her to make it look like she's steel pushing her way to Kredik Shaw. Oh, and obviously, the center piece of the park is Kredik Shaw, if that wasn't clear.
At sanderland I would love to see a "job" board with varying difficulties. The board would need tons of things on there find the pickpocket, settle a dispute, maybe even some larp action jobs. When a slip is taken unless they have multiple actors set up it wouldn't get a replacement until someone turns the respective job in at a "guild" the paper gets stamped they get some reward and then the job gets reposted for another visitor.
It would be a massive money pit, but who else could keep it running by just writing another book and making it leatherbound and selling it on crowdfunding? Not Ken Bretschneider. It would also be incredibly awesome. Like Harry Potter land at Universal but about a million times better and even more content to pull from. The expense would be huge to make a true theme park but just the idea of having something better than Lagoon around here feels amazing.
For a cool ride, imagine a mistborn ride where the ride acts like your using steel pushes, where you swoop up and down, feel like your about to fall then find a lucky price of metal, rise above buildings, then down nearly touching the ground.
I don't know how possible this would be, but a ride that takes you through the ages of scadrial could be neat. Imagine riding past Sazed Ascending to Harmony. Imagine witnessing a shoot out between Wax and Miles.
They should put one of those indoor skydiving things inside something like those new Star Wars rides in Disneyland. I’m sure you can guess what the theme would be.
I didn't know much about evermore but lived in salt lake and wanted to go there a few years ago. it was terrible. so expensive to get in and literally NOTHING to do except walk around and buy overpriced merch. tried to go to the restaurant but it was completely full (always apparently) and insanely high prices for not even high quality. I'm glad to see them go it was such a waste of time lol I'm new to Sanderson, like haven't even started a book yet kinda new, but already know it's gonna be better
I only went once, and it was basically like a Ren Faire without all the stuff that makes Ren Faires fun. The coolest thing was an eagle owl they had on display.
see, that's the issue. the park was mismanaged so it never got rides and all it had was poorly paid and managed actors in half built sets. was still neat, though. but it was SUPPOSED to have rides and all kinds of slow improvements and constant changes. If Sanderson is doing it there OR on the other plot of land I know they will make sure to pick a team capable of handling their vision properly as well as whatever budget they have for it. and help it to build and improve over time. If they don't start with rides, by the time they get movies, they will probably be able to afford them.
The timing is not right though the potential is really really there. He would need a lot more fans. In order to get more fans the movie series we have to be extremely good. If there was a proven series like Mistborn out in theaters already then maybe. Look how much Disney and Universal are spending on their fully immersive parks and how long it takes them to break even. He would need so much investment. If there are too many investors, they will become money hungry, which will definitely kill the quality of the park as well as the entire franchise as a whole. Believe me, I would love this to happen even if he bought the property and just held onto it until the timing is right. could you even afford the taxes in addition to what he's already trying to build. Imagine the logistics and stress and the time it would take from his writing. even with 50+ employees he struggling. He's currently behind on the book by a little bit.
I went to Evermore constantly. It was on my radar for ages because I assumed it was just a tax scam and would never open. It was amazing opening week, shame how it went downhill. It was the people they hired that made it cool but they never clued in to that.
OKAY JUST SAYING
A KIDS PLAYAREA CALLED THE BALLPIT OF HATHSIN
This is such a great idea! 😊
nooooOOOOOOOOOO 💀
Hopefully you don't come out of it with scars.
Someday it'll become a rite of passage for every cosmerenaut to make the pilgrimage to the Sanderland
For sure for sure
At the moment, we've got the traveling Sander-temple Tabernacle people can visit at conventions.
A roller coaster where you whoosh through a perpendicularity and the ride continues in Shadesmar would be a hoot.
Woah, that'd be awesome.
I keep wanting it to be named "Brandon Landerson"
That's Very Good™️
We need a tour of the Cosmere, hosted by Hoid. To give people a demonstration of how varied, colourful ,and wonderful all of the cultures and magic systems are.
That would be amazing!
A ride through the shattered plane would be cool. Down into the canyons maybe with a chasm fiend jump scare at the end
Oh storms yeah
That would be awesome! Making during the beginning of a highstorm for some cool environmental elements.
I can't wait to ride the Cosmerry-go-round.
That's great!
I think having it rethemed to Silverlight or some other Cosmere aware group base where you can take quests there and gain extra bits here and there.
Fully making it Silverlight would make a lot of sense.
The emperor's new groove clip was just: chef's kiss! Also, while the windrunner roller coaster is obvious, and the Threnodite haunted house is a must, I'm going with the Lightsong's dream rapids ride.
Ooh Haunted Forests of Hell!
Bro actually just called me out about thinking about going to evermore and never going
I only went once and I knew half the actors there.
There'd have to be a steel pushing or windrunning ride if they ever made rollercoasters
Steelpush bungee jumping.
Windrunner Zipline.
Incredible.
Smaller theme ideas to fit around the big rides people are suggesting:
A talking display of Nightblood, kinda like the MrPotatoHead on the boardwalk at Disney.
Notes from Hoid written in hidden spots on walls
CHOUTA Stands!
I love this
Oh chouta stands absolutely!
A "Pits of Hath-Syn" escape room? A Reckoners shooting gallery? An Emerald Sea log-plume?
Emerald Sea Log Flume would be super fun! I'd definitely want it to be with fluidized colored sand or something.
Definitely need a monorail called the BookTube. Failing that, a rollercoaster that is mostly just steadily carting you up a giant hill, ending in a giant plunge--the Sanderlanche, of course.
lol
Those are both amazing ideas.
If the park closes, Dragonsteel will definitely buy up the land. But that seems like the primary value of the park for them.
I'm definitely curious to see what happens.
@@TheCosmerenaut It makes absolutely no financial or business sense for Dragonsteel to actually turn it into a park. Disney has been struggling with its park business. Disney! It would be a great way for Brandon to turn a lot of money into a little money.
Not a ride but I want a wayne themed wheres waldo thing
We need a Wayne statue. Bonus points for a hat changing ceremony
There's a great children's book idea for Dragonsteel.
Oh my gosh, yes please! Brandon I'm begging you, please be doing this!
Alas, it's not to be.
@@TheCosmerenaut Such a shame.

That would be REALLY cool.
As much as I would love this, Peter alhstrom said that they have zero intention of doing this. That it would be a "money pit".
It would be a massive money pit, but who else could keep it running by just writing another book and making it leatherbound and selling it on crowdfunding? Not Ken Bretschneider.

Yup, it's definitely not happening.
@@TheCosmerenaut I know, so sad haha! But the dream of a steelpushing rollercoaster will live in my heart!
For a cool ride, imagine a mistborn ride where the ride acts like your using steel pushes, where you swoop up and down, feel like your about to fall then find a lucky price of metal, rise above buildings, then down nearly touching the ground.

That wind tunnel thing you can practice skydiving would be on theme.
Perfect!

Small World esque.
Wax & Wayne Train Ride
With an attack by the Vanishers!
A water/flume ride themed as being in the canyons on the Shattered Plains during a Highstorm!
That would be incredible!
A Sanderlanch a'la log flume but with snow....
The cart itself has to spin around so you get a different POV every few seconds.
An “Air Sickness” simulator
AKA - real life.
bro I fkn love your channel
Thank you!
I think this is correct. Looks like Dragonsteel was just waiting for Evermore to fold so they could take over.
Unfortunately it's been confirmed to not be happening.
They should put one of those indoor skydiving things inside something like those new Star Wars rides in Disneyland. I’m sure you can guess what the theme would be.

@@TheCosmerenaut that's true! I did like the owl
Indiana Jones type ride, running from the Nightmaw in Sixth of the Dusk!
Oh that's awesome!
People, this isn't a rides-type theme park. Much too small for that. It's more like a year-round renfair with magic theming.
see, that's the issue. the park was mismanaged so it never got rides and all it had was poorly paid and managed actors in half built sets. was still neat, though. but it was SUPPOSED to have rides and all kinds of slow improvements and constant changes. I remember when it was first pitched at Salt Lake Comic Con years ago, and they were saying it would eventually have some rides.
I 100% had this daydream when I found out Evermore was closed!!
You absolutely were not alone!
I'm envisioning a roller coaster following the flight path of Kaladin's and Leshwi's fight in the beginning of ROW
Or even just a Soarin' style ride following the highstorm over Roshar

Oh yeah, it's definitely not going to happen. It would be a money pit.
I'd like a fluidized ball pit for adults only (no pee please!) to simulate the Emerald Sea. Or a fabrial (magnetic?) chair ride or bumper cars.
A fluidized ball pit would be so fun!
I really hope this becomes Sanderland. lol fingers crossed!
SO GOOD
TRESPASSING, how DARE you
Don't tell anyone!
Woah there's actually some credibility to the sandland theory! Had no idea they purchased property there. I just thought it was fans being silly
Nope, it's definitely right across the street!
When did you get so much hair?
It happened pretty gradually actually.
I went to Evermore constantly. It was on my radar for ages because I assumed it was just a tax scam and would never open.
It was amazing opening week, shame how it went downhill. It was the people they hired that made it cool but they never clued in to that.
I knew a lot of the people that worked there, and you're exactly right.
In my opinion, I think it would do better as something that is not just Sanderson IP.
We'll see what happens!
