- Billy seeks help from Grace Sterling, the former Red Ranger from the 60s, to restore Tommy's powers after it is lost. Analyzing the Psycho Dagger obtained from the Psycho Green Ranger, they reconnect the Dragon Coin to its power source. Instead of giving the Coin to Zordon, Grace believes humanity should choose its own Power Ranger. When suggesting Drakkon as a candidate, Billy disagrees. Later, a new set of Dark Rangers threaten the team, but a Green Ranger, who is not Drakkon, emerges, aiding in their victory. Their identity remains a mystery.

I fell behind on them some time ago, but really enjoyed them when I was keeping current.
Honestly I picked one up at a free comic book day and thought it was pretty dope. If I remember correctly it was into the morphing grid. Seemed really dope and now it sounds like really should go read it and check this out as well

You realize that Super Sentai really was not a kid's show. I mean, characters do actually die on screen. Though, when the Power Rangers were using the footage of the show. They edited out the deaths and rewrote the story. Originally, in Super Sentai, Green Ranger dies. Power Ranger's edit: Just loses his powers.
Now that Hasbro owns the rights to Power Rangers. They broke the deal with the studio that makes Super Sentai. Here forward. Power Rangers will be original footage. @JohnPlataIII

What makes this even better, is that they used the Batinthesun design. And I absolutely love it. JDF's legacy is still alive.
This needs to be a show or a video game , no movie reboot can ever do what the comics have been doing

Would have been even better of he was able to use psycho green's dagger as well as the dragon dagger.
They had potential for a super green ranger. OG green with a secondary super green ranger morph combining the OG and psycho green powers, boosting the dragon powers and perhaps even enhancing dragonzord.
Hands down, it’s the best green ranger design.

The New Green Ranger is not bad, they should make him into a new Metallic Legacy Figure with the Exclusive Weapons: the original Dragon Dagger and the new Dragon Dagger.
This issue with people who are not educated in physics when they say "Energy is eternal/has a history" reply "Yes but you are forgetting about entropy...yes energy changes form but over time it will decay to nothingness".

Green ranger was always cooler then the white one
Well white was from another series in Japan so it makes sense why he doesn’t really fit with the team.
Which is why Tommy always had to have forgotten his communicator while doing martial arts in the woods or have more important things to do than fight a monster like work on a parade float lol. They came up with reasons for him not to be there or he would trivialize fights and use up all the limited Sentai footage. I feel like it was a missed operatunity though since the actual reason in the Sentai show made more sense. He only had a limited amount of time to be morphed so they could only use him when absolutely necessary. They should have just used that as it would have made early Tommy look way less careless.
@joshuawillingham6363 He didn't just have a limited time to be morphed. He had a limited time to live outside of his room. The reason for which is really stupid. He died during his stasis because for some reason a rock slide happened and killed him even though the other Zyurangers were perfectly fine. So Daizyujin had a spirit named Clotho bring him back to life but because Clotho was a dick he tied Burai's life force to a candle that would burn whenever he left his special room. Honestly it's just as stupid in Zyuranger
@@rbraunbeck96 Fair, but the limited time thing could have been adapted into a much more believable and and interesting plot contrivance. The last scene in the Sentai has the green ranger having to make a choice to save a child, but I'm doing so using up the last of his power and life force, which in my opinion is a much more interesting story. There are definitely things power rangers did better than super sentai, but this is a missed opportunity to me.

The new guy is some random new character named Matt. It later turns out he and Grace don’t like the fact Zordon exists and decide to help Lord Zedd, despite knowing that the rangers help people and Zedd only destroys but sure why not help the psychopath. This is why I can’t see the comics as good when they try stuff like this, we get it you like making the green ranger evil.

These comics take place in the time frame of MMPR season 2, though, so this new green ranger is not Tommy, either versions of him existing in the same timeline.

Did you watch the video? It's an upgraded green ranger with a new power source so, it'd now the strongest. Tommy is too busy being White ranger to be green at the same time, plus in the show it technically happened when he fought his green ranger clone as the White ranger and LOST.
@@xOmniCloudxits not a new source, they say it was reconnected to the power source. You can’t reconnect to something for the first time.
Also, the power source for rangers is the Morphin grid.
And the only reason the green ranger won against white was because white was weakened as a side effect of the spell that made two tommys

Tommy was fully recharged after morphing in the episode as per Zordon's words. He legit lost to his clone.

The reason white lost to green was because the wizard guy blasted him with a spell.
If you recall, Return of the Evil Green Ranger, it seemed the two Tommy’s were evenly matched. Also, in Dino Thunder, in Tommy’s vision before he got his black powers, his Green Ranger self said, “You of all people should know how powerful I am.”

As much as I don't like the character that is the 2nd green, these comics are far from poorly written. Better than anything that's come for Marvel or DC in terms of writing in like a decade.
Worth checking out.
