Great video dude! And the last part was also very helpful. Can i ask you something? you point it out tha the tremolo claw isnt centered. Is this an issue? can you fix it by yourself?
I did something similar to a strat copy I have that I upgraded a bit. Replaced the electronics with a loaded Squier pickguard I got, bit midway through the upgrade I decided to change the pickguard from a black to a black 3 ply. When I moved the electronics over, I put all the pickups in upside down. Didn't notice until I tried to put the pickguard in. Whoops. Great video. And wonderful playing!
The body color was one thing that made me buy this guitar, I love it too. Unfortunately I don't remember who has made the pickups. Can't check it out because I don't have the guitar anymore.
Hello, what about the quality of this guitar on the side of body and neck? I will purchase this Inca Silver or the Shell Pink and replace pickups, electronics, tuners and tremolo. I have other guitars like PRS Silver Sky and Fender Stratocaster from 90s and I need one "guitar-tool" for small gig with acoustic guitar band (that play electric sometimes). Thanks, best regards
Hi! This particular guitar as all of the Harley Bentons I have owned have had good neck profiles, greatly made neck pockets, decent weight on the body etc. I haven´t had to do anything with the wood parts. Ok, once I reshaped the headstock but quality wise, I have been blessed with good guitars from Harley.
Don't panic man,i wish could play like that.. And do the same even the luthier.... Thanks for the video...It will help me for new works on my Eko Strat
Thanks. And it really pays off when you learn to take care of the basic maintenance of your guitars. That gives you more freedom to alter things like electronics, pickups, necks etc...

Great video and playing… You could’ve sped up all that screwing though! LOL
True! Point taken....
Don’t be so modest, that was Some Great playin
thanks, you never know how it goes, would be scared to play that live... 😄
Hey Man, absolutely great playing!
Thank you very much!
Well-done, much improved budget guitar,, and great playing there. Cheers!
Thanks!
Are Fender pre-wired pickguards fully fit this guitar? Do you know?
I don't know that. But if the screw holes are not fully lined up, it is not a big task to make new ones. In many times part of the holes are ok.
Great video dude! And the last part was also very helpful. Can i ask you something? you point it out tha the tremolo claw isnt centered. Is this an issue? can you fix it by yourself?
It is not a big issue and that is very common with these budget guitars. Easy to fix by drilling new holes.

How much does it weigh?
a little over 3 kg
Harley Benton does use cheap pick guards. That is one thing they should improve. Looks good!
That is true, but it doesn´t affect playing though.
Great playing, love the body colour. Those pickups sound great, are they Roswell or Wilkinsons?
The body color was one thing that made me buy this guitar, I love it too. Unfortunately I don't remember who has made the pickups. Can't check it out because I don't have the guitar anymore.
I wish I had the courage and knowledge to tear apart and mod my guitars like you do.
Just go for it. Start with cheaper guitars, easier mods and use Internet to find answers and advice. Good luck!
Good job : guitar upgrade and of course playing !!
Thanks!

What kind of pots? 250 or 500?
I assume 250, which are usually used with single coils.
Very cool playing!!!
Thank you!
That attempt to play the Vaughn piece at the end makes me wonder if your last name isn't Tolonen :)
Good guess but it isn´t 🙃
And to my knowledge J Tolonen can´t play guitar anymore, his fingers do not function like before. He has changed to piano.
May I as what you are using to lubricate the nut slot, please?
Sure, I use D'Addario Friction Remover.
