Hahahaha... Glad I'm not the only one. I basically screamed, "REALLY???" Out of something that I expected, he chooses gun out of nowhere. Bare hands or katana or something else but gun! Then I read the manga, so it turns to be, "Oh okay" 😂
I didn’t like Kiyoka losing this way but if you think about it it makes sense that’s the only way Arata could beat him (tricking him with her image and MIYO calling out to for him). Aside from that, Kiyoka didn’t want to fight anymore because of MIYO hesitations to answer what she wanted.
He didn't fight fair however Miyeo had every right to know the truth about her mother and embrace the dream magic she was born with. After coming back from the journey she returned back stronger, braver and healthier than ever so proud of our sunshine. She just has to learn to stand up to others whenever the situation comes❤❤❤

I don’t understand why kudo just gave up at the end. With his speed and supernatural ability, he could’ve easily dodged him without a sword & ate him for breakfast

Yes Kudo took an L but if the fight were public Arata would look like a clown for hiding behind an image of a woman he sought to protect. Given the fact that he almost wound being the one taking that L.
Honestly i know miyo has trauma but shes just standing on the sidelines letting Kyodo risk his life for her. The bullet could kill him or injure him and we dont see her react even.
She thinks shes holding him back and causing him worry then what about this? Also shes so upset that she will disappoint him and she doesnt think of how her decision to stay affects him?
When people traumatized for so long and suddenly in the position where they're the one that's being focus on they can't decide.
