The SU-25 would actually win here due to the better fighter-capabilities. But in the end, neither of the planes weren't meant for fighting air-targets, so it's highly unlikely that the 2 would be even near each other.

As great the a10 is, the frogfoot is so elegant and is basically a tank
Su-25 performed well in Ukraine war I saw a video of a su-25 that survived after being hit by Missile and some big bullets Caliber and succeed to fly away of the red zone after accomplishing its mission , so we can say Su-25 is useful even in modern wars, knowing that Ukraine has the S-300 and many other systems but the su-25 is still doing a good job there.

@@paulsteaven yep. The A-10 ( and probably the SU-25 as well, but I haven't looked into it ) did also have issue with target identification, leading to many friendly fire incidents. And there's also the question of . . .why not just use another aircraft to do the same job?

And why use A-10 and not other aircraft? It's the current most cost effective fixed wing aircraft of USAF for conducting CAS and the A-29 Super Tucano/AT-6 Wolverine were still in testing while the armed crop duster is for SOCOM.

Лично я считаю что А-10 лучше, СУ-25 тоже неплох, но это самолёт построенный в СССР, который не подвергался глобальным модификациям, а вот А-10 прошёл множество этапов модернизации и его знаменитый BRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRT тоже дал культовое значение этому самолёту, но что я люблю в СУ-25 - это его живучесть, гениальная, простая и надёжная конструкция в купе с хорошим бронированием для самолёта делает этот самолёт летающим танком.
