Great video, thanks for sharing this. The Garmin avionics package included with this aircraft looks absolutely superb, it's very well laid out in the cockpit. Is it just the camera's tight field of view that's making the view out of the cockpit look a little cramped?
Well, let's say you are a multi millionaire and you are using Net Jets to take you and your wife and kids on vacation. Would you get in a jet with a low time pilot as part of the crew? Nah, I don't think so....But keep trying and good luck.
Vidur Thukral Airline Transport Pilot Certificate (Multi-Engine Land) Current FAA First Class Medical certificate 2500 hours total pilot time 500 hours fixed wing multi-engine time 250 hours instrument time (actual or simulated in flight - excludes simulator time)
Matthew Mahling Do you work for their company? I’d hesitate to jump to assumptions. Not all companies are approved to use an Electronic checklist and need a specific LOA to use the HUD as well as additional crew training. The standard GLF checklist is very long and time consuming. Many companies have approved abbreviated paper checklists. Gulfstream will convert company specific checklists to electronic format on the PFD if you’re willing to pay $$$, most companies skip the expense and stick with paper and ink.
tom dick Hey Tom. thank you for watching. This is a netjets crew as real as can be... This was filmed during a ferry flight with no passengers on board.
Had no idea when landing the 5 the power levers were pulled to idle so soon. Good wing! Nice video and thanks for posting.
Landed a V on the ILS 6 at KTEB many a time. Enjoyed watching this - just like being there !!
Thx for liking... :-) indeed it's an amazing plane...
cheers,

That's not Garmin my friend, it's a Honeywell Epic-Primus system, about almost one million dollars worth...
Final approach at Teterboro, NJ in a Gulfstream G550.
awesome landing vid!!!
great video !thanx
Question : did the pilot have his left hand on the wheel and the co-pilot didnt have to touch the wheel at all?
Looking good..
Love My Gulfstreams :-))))).
maybe you saw the Beech Premier jet?
Lucky you didn't have Justin Beiber as a passenger.
How good is a NetJets job? Can it be an entry level job or does it require a lot of experience?

Paper checklist? Come on guys, you're flying a G550 not a 172. I'm not even going to go into not using the HUD.

auto-pilot landing?
No auto-pilot landing.
co pilot not flying no need to touch yoke.
no ties? a real netjets crew would be more professional.

NJE as opposed to NJA. I wouldn't be opposed to flying with no tie when no owners are on board.
