U just give me real iside how i shuld start it was what i need i watch many videos and they only show u how to do whelee bu for real beginers u help me a loot thank u for that dude :)
I saved my money to buy a quad for a good year and some bits. I kinda learned to wheelie by myself but never got over a certain height since I’m scared of breaking my plastics, like you said I’ll practice it on grass and get really comfortable whit it and I should be good. Very good tutorial much appreciated, by the way my quad is a raptor 700r 2018, i switched from a Wolverine 350 4x4 to a dvx 400 which I then let go for the raptor, theses quads are real beasts lol.
Thank you so so much! I'm one of those that have managed a few little bunny hop wheelies in my time - got the fear and now see how incredibly wrong ,y technique and process of learning was. I got very disheartened to be honest. Your tutorial is one of the best out there and I have searched a lot (Usually they just say - do it like " pops wheelie* this .. etc.. with no clear explanation of what to really do. My fav part of the vid was to bounce the rear bar in 1st to see the limits. I never knew about that. I have one question - when you hit the rear bar and ground it in (mines a reinforced aftermarket one btw) Will the engine always shut off? I didn't see you use the kill switch. - I don;t want my 4 wheeler running away into nowhere. Again though thank you so much!
Dont be scared to tip over.. 1st gear pull wont hurt you... and just keep trying....ALSO take little break so mind is calm between rides.. it only becomes easier
N holy cow man ive put my bar down hella times man and not a single dent or movement even took it on street but i can kiss it on the street but im tryna b like you n wheelie fast eventually man
A raptor has a sub frame, the frame towards the front and around the engine consists of steel. The sub frame that’s attached to the steel frame but goes farther back is made out of aluminum. And the rear bar, made out of steel is also called a grab bar. With repeated hard blows to the grab bar can crack the aluminum sub frame. Take a look under the seat area, you will see the sub frame. Or you can google “sub frame” for a raptor 700 and/or a raptor 660. They are somewhat costly when replacing one.
I dont know what im doing wrong im not sure if its my weight or my quad i just cant lift it up. Before you ask i dont know that name i just know that it has 150cc
@@Imadomyownthing2-n2i I assume it’s automatic which means it’s a lot harder, I could never wheelie my little 90cc. Best thing to do is put both feet back and just pull rly hard as you hit the gas
@@ashtonc05 Yes it is an automatic, ive tried multiple positions to do it including putting both feet back, But still no luck. If you have any more tips please tell me!
If u don’t learn from this advice u will never learn . Besides the fact that I prefer second gear because first gear on raptor is very powerful fk around n break your back lol . Not to scare anyone .
Finally a good tutorial! Definitely made me feel more comfortable to try it on my raptor!
Good to hear bro
Just the fact that you didn't cram the video with a bunch of different techniques and you were straight forward with it makes it good
Great vid man, i learnt through trailing with moto boys having to do things to get in and out of odd situations. i love the 700r

I’m lil slow and young and no other videos really help
Great information thank you. 💯
Yoo boss where do you mount your GoPro btw awesome video
Need to get used to rear break so if it comes up too high you can use the rear brake and bring it back down
Solid video
DAMN I MISS MY RAPTOR !!!!
What gear would I wheelie on my 450er
where did u get ur pro taper color from?
Off top quesiton but what kind of boots are those?
N holy cow man ive put my bar down hella times man and not a single dent or movement even took it on street but i can kiss it on the street but im tryna b like you n wheelie fast eventually man
Yo bro gotta Honda trx250 can I learn on it like how your doing without clutch ???
Hey that quad bike is my dream bike
The only problem is when i'm not using 1 foot on the bar i never know how far i am in the wheelie and im scared to scrape without noticing
where did you get them stickers/graphics on your rear plastics calf level?
Did you use the clutch at all?
When you say “sub frame” are u talking about the rear grab bar? I dont see how the frame would suck, if its ur bolts breaking and coming loose

@@rukamukus o ok because i been learning to wheelie but on the roads lol
🔥 video, this is just a question but would you rather have a dirt bike or the raptor?
Raptor all day
me having the quad and the skill just the only spot to ride is all hills no flat area to wheelie
How do you see where you’re going when you get up on two wheels
If I’m in a slow wheelie I look around the side of the bike, if I’m in a fast wheelie I can see over it
I dont know what im doing wrong im not sure if its my weight or my quad i just cant lift it up. Before you ask i dont know that name i just know that it has 150cc

I didn’t see you use the clutch So you never use the clutch?
I have 700 r se, and you absolutely don't need clutch to wheelie. You can pull wheelie in 5th gear on these no clutch
@@richarddye113 so the powerful the bike the less use of the clutch

wheelies are pretty helpful at learning how to not fall back on your bike when you accidentally give it too much throttle 🤷🏽♂️
Good thing you was in the grass an not concrete🤣
Wait so you don’t need to use your clutch
No not unless your going really slow, like basically not moving
