    Finally a good tutorial! Definitely made me feel more comfortable to try it on my raptor!

    Just the fact that you didn't cram the video with a bunch of different techniques and you were straight forward with it makes it good

    I saved my money to buy a quad for a good year and some bits. I kinda learned to wheelie by myself but never got over a certain height since I’m scared of breaking my plastics, like you said I’ll practice it on grass and get really comfortable whit it and I should be good. Very good tutorial much appreciated, by the way my quad is a raptor 700r 2018, i switched from a Wolverine 350 4x4 to a dvx 400 which I then let go for the raptor, theses quads are real beasts lol.

    Thank you so so much!
    I'm one of those that have managed a few little bunny hop wheelies in my time - got the fear and now see how incredibly wrong ,y technique and process of learning was. I got very disheartened to be honest.
    Your tutorial is one of the best out there and I have searched a lot (Usually they just say - do it like " pops wheelie* this .. etc.. with no clear explanation of what to really do.
    My fav part of the vid was to bounce the rear bar in 1st to see the limits. I never knew about that.
    I have one question - when you hit the rear bar and ground it in (mines a reinforced aftermarket one btw) Will the engine always shut off? I didn't see you use the kill switch. - I don;t want my 4 wheeler running away into nowhere.
    Again though thank you so much!

    wheelies are pretty helpful at learning how to not fall back on your bike when you accidentally give it too much throttle 🤷🏽‍♂️

    When you say “sub frame” are u talking about the rear grab bar? I dont see how the frame would suck, if its ur bolts breaking and coming loose

    • @rukamukus
      @rukamukus 9 місяців тому +1

      A raptor has a sub frame, the frame towards the front and around the engine consists of steel. The sub frame that’s attached to the steel frame but goes farther back is made out of aluminum. And the rear bar, made out of steel is also called a grab bar. With repeated hard blows to the grab bar can crack the aluminum sub frame. Take a look under the seat area, you will see the sub frame. Or you can google “sub frame” for a raptor 700 and/or a raptor 660. They are somewhat costly when replacing one.
