If I had any advice for someone just getting into solo content, especially going for solo flawless dungeons: The number one run killer is the game f**king you over, like in this video when Mac almost gets sent off the map by that Minotaur glitching into the floor. The number two run killer is complacency. Skill is almost never a factor; if it is a factor, you will know almost immediately.
Nah main main killer is def thinking you’re in a rush, when you’re doing the boss fights best bet is breath and keep in mind “I’m in no rush, they will die eventually I don’t need to try and do as much damage as possible as fast as possible” SURVIVING IS TOP PRIORITY OVER EVERYTHING

Complacency is more so “thinking you’ve got it in the bag”, so you don’t play as safe, and then die to something you normally wouldn’t die from (which you could describe as being overconfident too.) Overconfidence is more so just not being as good as you think you are, so ppl tend to call it complacency for those that “can” do it, and are failing from making poor, aggressive choices (You can definitely argue both are valid definitions though)

Most painful thing watching this is how unaware Mac is of his BnS timer, constantly attempting to reproc BnS while it still had 4 seconds on it cost him at least 1 damage phase

I think with Bait and Switch, you can't re-proc until the first timer runs out. So instead of doing the rotation, it might be worth it to reload your heavy and keep shooting that, and *then* go through the rotation to re-proc. But if you start that rotation before BnS timer is out, it doesn't count.
@mactics you dont have to reset your artifact. You can refund your last 2 perks in the right most column, pick anti barrier smg, then refund antibarrier pulse (or whatever) then use your refunded points on whatever remaining perks.
Ive learned from watching Bog that you always wanna throw ur melee before the nade if possible, saves you some time thanks to the faster throw animations and gets you nade regen back at the same time while prismatic. Not sure you could've procced cascade off the minotaurs, but envious is the safer bet. I'm sure with further optimization you could''ve 3phased! Great vid
If you’re playing hunter the combination blow build with an exotic class item with inmost light and spirit of the liar works great for first boss, I’d keep dragons breath in for constant damage (if you have catalyst)
Can't say I enjoy the much longer boss fights now. I've done all of these solo flawless, done duality solo flawless a few times (farming unforgiven) and I've done GOTD solo flawless twice. I use GOTD as a telling of if my solo focused build is good, and well, maybe I was having a skill issue that day but my boss fights were lasting even LONGER somehow... The changes do not feel all too good. Received damage is okay, I don't mind, but the outgoing damage is a bit painful.
First boss in warlords has bout 8M health, second has 10 and third has 12. It seems slower cause the dps phases are shorter except for the second boss, first and last dps phases are at most 10-15 seconds for a solo player, ghost is diff cause dps phases never change, they’re the same length for both bosses
Mac my brother, you gotta hit them crit shots to proc cascade and the harder the hit, the more likely it’ll proc. Still great video and yeah dungeons are easier but honestly I’m having more fun with them than I did before
Gonna use the time with ignitions being more potent now to use my warlock to solo warlord's ruin. I would attempt ghosts of the deep but eeeeeh, that one is definitely an annoying one to try to solo
For me, it's always the small stuff. I've done half the dungeons solo flawless, but whether it's moths or that one jump in ghosts of the deep or whether it's a bell bug in duality, I just can't get some of them. One day
I am not sure what causes the bell bug in duality dungeon but I have been going inside bell circle, wait for 2 seconds then hit it. Never encountered the problem again
I “accidentally” solo-ed Throne the other day on Prismatic’lock. Took the dungeon bounty for Solstice, didn’t realize it took three encounters. Finished the first encounter, saw the bounty didn’t complete, said “F it” and ran a full solo. Roughly an hour, little to no real thought or effort.
DB might’ve done better if you had the fragment on that allows you to do extra damage to enemies with a darkness debuff. Maybe like deliverance, S&S star eaters + foetracer + DB? Void grenade for weaken, unless you want to keep grapple, you could do the void melee instead of the shurikens
I’m unironically going to use this to try and get my solo, flawless Spire. Question for any experienced people with this dungeon, in particular, this season - Is BnS edge with witherhoard the actual best start for final boss?
I used dragons breath with scattered for final, edge can flat out kill you if the wyvern is to close. Dragons breath you can run away at least, but otherwise edge is extremely good on final
warlock song of flame literally is a cheat code for any content basically, just slap speaker's sight and a half decent build and you will do decent dps with basically immortality, this is stronger than og phoenix protocol, warlock just gone compleately sycho mode this dlc
I run a similar hunter build, built from one of yours, with that Pro Memoria with assassin. Just slowly build the mag up to stupid levels, pull out the LMG and create orbs for 200 rounds lol
I don't understand what he means at 11:25 regarding charged and uncharged melee. He says that when you have them separately bound that his charged doesn't proc but I've always had them on separate keybinds and I have never had that issue
You had it swapped around in your head. When he has ‘auto melee’ it doesn’t do the charged melee after shooting. Having them be separate keybinds, like you have it, avoids this problem. Usually controller players play with either only charged melee or auto melee on just because of the lack of buttons

Persys takes heavily increased damage from supers. You don't really want to use tether against him. You want a super that has high total damage output and then just use weapons to top it off once super is done. Using Dragon's Breath and then using something like the strand super with Stareater on your class item would probably be a better play there.
Spire would be easy, but the first boss always somehow kills me, but not himself. On the grates, there are tiny, random holes that you can just perfectly fall thru, no mantling, and no recovery
can you sometime in future do a video about what you sad regarding uncharged and charged mele and auto mele, you confuse me now with your swap inputs, im playing with uncharged and charged mele on separate controller buttons but i dont know this stuff with full auto mele off or on and if you have some more tricks to tell us that be nice. tnx
Why not stay with celestial still hunt/combo blow for the last boss...even if you only use sh gg for 1 shot then swap to edge if you're worried about the small crit spot??

Got all the way to main boss with very little issues, but idk if I’m just getting impatient or what but damn I can’t even beat the boss, let alone solo flawless it. Get it down to about half health, then die every time. So so frustrating.. 🤣
Because of power creep, I think your solo flawless raid banner should have the date you did the solo flawless at the bottom right. Just so those who struggle through when things were rough can have a bit of bragging rights.
Solo flawless hunter for ghosts of the deep has got to be near impossible. The health pools are insane. I’ve seen a bunch of warlock clears with getaway artists but dont think hunters could get a solo flawless clear. Can Mac prove me wrong?
Sure you can get all the DR in the world and what you do 4-5 dps phases each for both bosses? My buddy and I were duo-ing the boss last night with the getaway artist build and that still took 3-4 phases as a duo.
The common build for solo Ghosts of the deep on hunter was arc hunter with combination blow and that was with Assassins Cowl. Prismatic combination blow is an upgrade and that’s without needing Assassins Cowl

Yea I definitely notice the -5 changes. Soloing warlords took at minimum an extra phase on each boss for me.
