I’m just turned 64 remembering hearing this for the first time at 12 yrs old........on a transistor radio about the size of a deck of cards! Had it under my pillow waiting for KOMA AM radio stations to go full power! Love the old R&B tunes back then!
When I hear Frank's bold voice penetrate the background at 2:54, it always sends chills up my spine. It's one of my all-time favorites because I think "my way" is the way that everyone should strive to live by. Being true to those you love in the face of challenges, following your destiny, and simply loving life.

My Way é o título em inglês da canção francesa Comme d'habitude, que foi lançada pela primeira vez pelo cantor, Claude François, em 1967, na França. A canção foi escrita pelo compositor francês Jacques Revaux no mesmo ano e chamava-se For Me, em seguida Revaux a ofereceu ao renomado cantor Hugues Aufray que a recusou, depois fez contato com Petula Clark mas ela também rejeitou a música. Fabulous. When my best friend, Bobby, a pianist singing at piano bars in 2 languages In Italian & English, in NYC always playing your song you composed, when he passed at 39 we played this at his funeral. I’ve seen Frank many times in concert bc my family . I love hearing you both singing your song you composed, your way! You are a handsome genius.
