I second that, i done may VMware, Cisco, ITL, Azure, AWS, Microsoft, IPIC etc. and all as simple as ABC but Redhat Exam booking is like you trying to invent another Redhat OS that looks like Redhat but works like Windows!!...Really Redhat come on it is 2024 now and we are trying to promote your technology, so how can we if simple task as booking exam feels like climbing mountain Everest...

This must be a bot account, never in my life has the scheduling part of an exam been harder than the objectives or exam itself. This has been torture still looking for a place to schedule a remote exam because the closest testing center to me is 7 hours away.

Is there any plans to make this to where you can take the Exam in the ROL Portal (not having to use this USB media) as you have a camera or cameras all over you? If there is an issue then you have to pay to retake the exam all over again.

hi, can i take the exam questions and the environment itself in the english language but keep my keyboard-layout? usually i use the german keyboard layout (qwertz) and i am afraid that i will lose a lot of time if i take the exam with the us/english qwerty layout.
It`s not necessary to install it. You should just start it as "Live Boot" into laptop memory. Check Your secure boot option and be sure that You can properly enter boot menu to select USB stick as OS source.

SSH keys are already there and they are well configured and distributed across nodes. You will use Your workstation as central point for ansible YAML files and configuration location. More details about configuration like username, passwords etc. You will find during exam in dedicated section.

This video is useless, it still doesn't actually show how to book an exam. Where is the exam scheduler, all I get is details of the exam and no way to book it. EDIT: Don't go to the Exam Scheduler page as the tutorial incorrectly tells you, the exams are located on the Red Hat Training and Certification page.
I also faced the issue like yours. I simply typed "exit" at the GRUB2 prompt and I was able to see it booted up successfully. I suppose this is a part of an exam for RHCSA (just kidding
I already passing an exam just using old ISO live boot. I don't really know why Red Hat team can not solve this problem because today is still on fixing ISO image the discussion had go on in Learning Community. By the way exam experience is great in over all for proctor.
I left my house and drove all the way to the store and this man is still talking about the requirements to just take the test.

you might want to add `status=progress` as option to the dd command to see the progress of the image writing process on the terminal
On Linux (and Mac w/GNU dd installed say via brew), you can add `status=progress` to `dd` to give some helpful progress info.

There is option to select another keyboard layout as Your default during OS configuration.
why it doesn't possible to take an exam with macbook, majority of IT engineers use macs.

Very frustrating on installing the live usb. I will have to cancel my remote exam. Red hat needs to do a better job on support and instructions

You will need to use the Distribution that Red Hat uses for the exam as it is what allows you to securely connect to their environment.
You can use any OS you like. The system isn't touched even remotely. You download a live ISO to use

why is a RHEL exam using Fedora?
Fedora is using to load and connect to the remote RHEL environment. Not for exam itself.

Latest ISO that about 2 GB is not working I stuck at GRUB2 boot screen pelase check this problem many people seem also facing this issues.
