Ford originally marketed the Mustang as the “secretary’s car” so I’m sure it was 2 completely different customer pools at play in the beginning

🤟😁👍I bought one of these last year new in natural with gorgeous woodgrain design. Beautiful guitar, excellent fit and finish. I like the smaller neck and shorter scale. 24" with 9-1/2 radius. Very fast and comfortable. I'm a big P90 fan, they can be really clean and sweet when rolled back and alot of bark and bite dimed out. Getcha one.

Hey Guys. A 10 minute internet search didn't tell much except that factory fitted P90s on Fenders seem less than common, but for this model. Although there seem to be plenty of Mustangs with single coils, but finding other Fender models with P90s, like the Strat, seems a rarer feature.
Someone please correct me if they know that I'm wrong with that impression. Thanks.
I have a Duo-Sonic.. Great guitar.. 11-52 is the recommended gauge..
Cool Mustang. These are cool little guitars, but I've never been into offsets, so they are fun to doodle around with, but nothing I'd take to the state of studio. More a garage guitar.

Really cool that you're into fret leveling and crowning but like shouldn't you make sure the neck is flat before you do that and maybe use a marker on the frets to see when you hit them all enough for them to be level
Ford sued everyone so I’m surprised why they never went after fender for the Mustang and Bronco. Even some of the stripes were trademarked and Shelby liked to sue also. Fender did say the stripes were taken from the Shelby cars.

I like Fenders, but I prefer the MIM's simply because it's easier to find wrenches that fit than American made stuff...
