How is this car to drive/own? I've been thinking of getting mk3 one day. I'd like a mk4 but seems like they are simply going to get too expensive for what they are. Also I don't want to pay the "f&f extra" lol. So yea, guess I'll be going with mk3. They don't seem as bad cars anyways, like I thought before, when only car I could think of was mk4 Supra :)
+SingleTurboSupra Hi. The car drives great. When you buy a neglected one you will need to replace/upgrade a lot. I have owned this car for 12 years now and almost every part has been reupholstered or replaced by upgrades. Ditch the old 7M in favor of a 1JZ (or 2JZ) and she will not let you down and turn heads everywhere you go.
+Shoarmateam Does 7M have any other problems than the head gasket? Sure it's less powerful so I'd go for 1Z anyways. But I do know a fix for the head gasket (well internet told me)
+SingleTurboSupra I've fixed a lot of headgasket problems on different 7M's. It's a very good motor as long as you keep it stock. Also, the main bearings tend to wear out around 200.000km. When you redo the engine, be sure to resurface the block to RA value of 28 or less, resurface the head, use ARP head bolts and torque them to around 97NM. Also use a cometic head gasket. But when you aim for more HP than stock, it will be cheaper to swap in a JZ engine and call it a day.

@@smokeynagata25 een ssqv is ook leuk maar klinkt heel anders. Deze kost ook het dubbele. Tenminste, toen ik hem kocht waren ze 2ehands nog 450 euro.
