Not to mention that for endgame genshin players, whenever a new world boss gets added we can usually kill it a few seconds after it wakes up. We don't even see its full mechanic unless it gets added as a lv100 boss in abyss floor 12.
One thing I can say and like about Wuwa is. No two characters play the same. Each one has their own individual animations. Their elements/ weapon doesn't define them. Which makes their personality more stand out (Except gunner's aimed-shot & air-shot) The enemy is more active & reactive. Its a looping feedbacks between dodging, parrying and countering. You can do your usual rotations but the enemy can stop your flowchart, so you have to adapt too

I love that every character in WuWa is useful being on field and really looking like a team, with only 3 characters, Genshin you just really see one character on field cause the other 3 disappear after one second and don’t use them anymore, WuWa has style, combat, companions, Outros and Intros, Echos, more abilities more COMBOS.
blown away by their combat mechanics, even though i am at open world fatigue since ToF (former Traveler but left Teyvat since Nov 2022) so yeah... P.S. parrying actually exist in genshin, but only as a one-time event only :v and was never used again (also only traveler can do it, but forgot, kek)
After playing WuWa I went back to Genshin cuz waifus and the combat isn't absolutely terrible, as I enjoy the elemental reactions a lot, but man it definitely isn't as satisfying as WuWa combat. I can grind for hours in WuWa and have fun with, but in Genshin I already sigh after I beat up a few enemies for the dailies.
Not to mention in WuWa some boss even able to parry the player. I guess Scar is like a sneak peek of a more complex Boss mechanic we may get in the future. Who knows maybe it gonna be like PGR's bosses.
After 3 years, you can kinda see the pattern of GI's character combat. Most of the time, only half the character's kit is used, the rest can be whatever, specially their basic atk, very faithful to their weapon types no matter if the character is a civilian or a fighter
After playing wuthering waves I forgot how to play genshin, for me wuwa is easier because I can avoid damage by dodging and parry and in genshin you can't which makes it difficult for me

For parries in WW you also need to study the hitboxes of both the enemies and the characters, what makes it even more complex

@@hehuho890 That's not a parry, that's a guard followed by a counterattack. Parry means deflecting an attack by striking it.
Parry doesn't exist on its combat foundation. A new combat mechanic limited in an event doesn't make that mechanic "existing" in general.
