Love these videos. Two thoroughly decent gents, with their beards and lovely manners and eargerness to give putts. Steve always seems so much more relaxed away from the mental machinations of Mark Crossfield......

I love Pickard's towel. My favorite brand. You guys are lucky to be able to play winter golf in lovely weather....compared to me at least :). I've got -12 degrees celsius right now and about 1m of snow. Gotta hate the Icelandic winter.

Final hole, Steve's 2nd shot prep. Frightens a squirrel an it runs up a tree behind you. #Beardsfrightenwoodlandcreatures

and that's why they called it golf cuz all the other 4 letter words were used up! ur playing well - then it kicks u in the baubles (seasonal) and the wheels fall off. Nice looking course I bet putting is fun in August!

What a treat #longironfest. Yeh think I agree with Pickard , today i was assessing whether to put my 3 iron back in the bag in exchange for my 6i but, really I can manage well enough with just my 1 and 4 irons. Shame, I now have a surplus H5 3 iron ;-)

+Vici Martynov hi whats your setup in your bag?

+morten lothe Callaway 13deg Bertha mini or Nike Covert 11.5 driver depending how i feel, covert 15deg 3 wood and 20deg 3 hybrid, Mizuno MP-H5 1 iron, Nike VR ProCombo forged 4-9 irons, Nike VR pro forged wedges 48/10 56/14 60/10 toe sweep and a ping Anser 5 milled putter ;-)

nice set. the pro combos are nice and the mizuno 16 dg is so easy and long. if i was you i would take away the 56, get a 50 dg wedge and a 58 dg wedge and voila u can put your 3 iron back in play. to many wedges doesnt always equal good closegame. its just a "habit" people have. better to have choises on the longgame. thx for answering:)

+morten lothe Actually I play a two wedge system, my wedges aren't gapped. I use 48/10 all the way in from 100 yards to around the green where I use the 60/10 toe sweep lob wedge for green side bunkers and close lies. My 56/14 "Bulldozer" is totally indispensable and isn't used as a wedge in normal play. I use it in difficult hazards like trees, roots, gravel, very heavy rough, brambles, nettles left handed shots against obstructions. I wouldn't use any of my other lovely clubs in stuff like that and I am damned if i will willingly take a penalty drop. When carrying in winter i just take the 48 and 56. Yes the Mizuno H5 is absolutely lovely, I had it fitted with a DG SL shaft to increase head speed and I use it for most of my drives ;-)

ahh ok, its all about what shot u want and what shot you need in the bag. i would love the rules to be changed to 16 clubs for us amateurs lol. well as your game gets better you dont need to drop so much;) or just take drops when its a lose lose situation:) so your 3 iron can come out and play

Didn't Pickard call and play his draw on the third hole?

3:33 8 iron downhill out of a crappy lie? Hmmm..... How about a bit of height/check and let it roll from the fringe? 60 back in the stance all day. Possibly just below the hole for an uphill shorty..

+moregolfplz prob correct but also easy to fluff it short especially on camera.

60 back of the stance is probably the worst shot you could play out of a shit mud lie. 60* middle of the stance turn the body and use the bounce yes please

60 in the back is a low % play. Using a 60 may have been the better option thou

+Buzza Golf Wasn't that your first thought? Steve (Mr. Buzza), your ball striking is nothing short of spectacular...once your game mgmt catches up you'll be on tour.
