+Buzza Golf your more than welcome sir ....keep the vlogs comming ...and best wishes for the new year ....tell James best wishes also....the two of you seem like you are close "mates" as you would say I am from Tennessee in United States ...always cherish your friendship....we are only here on earth for a very short time in the grad scheme of things...although I presume I am only a few years your senior at age 39 ...I can still tell you true friends or "mates" are way more important than any game ....ever our beloved golf ....cheers

Hey Pickard, can you explain why you thought that last pin wasn't a draw pin? Wouldn't the best option be to aim at the pin and draw it? If you hit the perfect shot you're middle of the green. Hit it straight by mistake and you're on the pin. A fade brings the shortside into play.

+MrPolus24 It is very common to aim middle of the green and fade to a right pin and aim middle and draw to a left pin placement. If you aim at the pin on the right and hit the ball straight or ever so slightly push the ball you will be short sided. Aiming middle and fading the ball should allow for the missed shot to be on the green. If he does miss right then it would be a major slice or push and with that bad of a shot you are kind of SOL no matter where you aim.

    • @MrPolus24

+TheSnuggleupagus But if you're aiming to land on the middle of the green and miss right, you have essentially missed by the same amount, regardless of what shape you're trying to hit. I guess everyone is different but when trying to shape a shot my usual error is over-drawing/over-fading rather than hitting it straight by mistake, so I always aim at the trouble and move it away from the trouble.

+MrPolus24 Think of it this way, if you aim at the pin and try to draw it to the middle of the green and hit a great shot you will be in the middle of the green. A miss hit ball would give the potential to be near the hole. So essentially you would be trying to hit a bad shot so you would be closer to the hole.

+TheSnuggleupagus Not exactly. Like I said, my personal most likely miss hit in that situation would put me on the left side of the green. But I can see why other people would choose to use your method. Depends of your own personal miss I guess.
