I think this is because of 1.21 or smth but when ever he goes to give the carrots they just like disappear and my hoppers are correctly placed and cart ones with the villager in a 2 block gap I have no idea
@@agentvolt_3367if they just disappear when the farmer villager is throwing them you didn’t set up your hoppers correctly. The crops still go into the hoppers it’s just not connected properly.

Hey Turtle! The villager inside was harvesting the crops, however he didn't throw them to the villager that was in the chamber behind the hopper minecarts, and the crops were just staying on the ground in the farm. Any idea how can i fix that? Also, I've made sure that the villager in the chamber isn't a nitwit.
Hey! I've found a resolution of the problem. I've been testing the farm in my creative world, where there's no daylight cycle. I decided to turn the daylight cycle on, for the sake of it, and it turns out it's working perfectly fine as long as there is daylight cycle!
@@freerunner4332 hmm I'm in survival, i have it stacked so potato on the bottom and carrot on top, my carrot one is working just not the potato. I tried swapping the non farmer vilager and it worked for a bit. I think the non villager must be picking up the food and his inventory gets full
@@nate9622 Hmm, that might be a valid solution, i suspect as well that when the non-farmer villager gets one type of crop in his inventory, the farm works only with that type of crops. I'll try it as well and see if it makes any difference.
When farmers interact with the composter to refresh trades they make the same sound as a player using a composter, hes not actually composting the crops

The top one looks like it's turned 90 degrees from the bottom one. PS I gave the farmer a bunch of carrots to get started and he did try to pass them to the captive. works with wheat but youll get mostly bread from it since villagers can craft bread. with the other crops you get the actual crop. not worth it as a wheat farm.

Will this work if the villager in the chest area is a nitwit? My farmer is in the center but can’t seem to find a normal unskilled villager so I just used a nitwit for the chest portion.
@@wetnoodlsz6705 tested it and it works. You can use a nitwit villager for the storage area, Any villager that has enough food will pass it on to another villager.
It s working on both versions,i made it in bedrock on 4 layers and it s working very well,be carefull at the villagers(If they have many beds they will breed beetween the dirt and you won t get anymore crops)

The villager on the outside will automatically be assigned a job if I want it to or not. Will the one in the middle still pass the carrots even if both are farmers.
@@TurtleCraft_og There is a possibility that an unemployed villager will hook up to the composter and block the farmer's access. Therefore, it is better for all villagers to have a profession and it to be secured through trade.
only need 1 farmer harvesting. if you have two farmers harvesting they will just trade back and forth/attempt to breed and rarely trade with one behind hopper minecarts.
not sure what ive done wrong, but i cant seem to fix it. Villager seems to rarely farm and spends most of his time staring at the other villager. dont get any wheat drops or seed drops at all. tried 3 different villagers and all do the same thing
There are wheat farms that work but they are harder. It’s just like this design but you have to pre fill the farmers inventory with seeds so that he drops the wheat on the ground, then you need a collection system under the entire farm to scoop up the dropped wheat.
I fixed the second layer problem. Instead of directing the hopper to the trapdoor, direct it either left or right and place hoppers leading to the chest below.
the AI can be a bit buggy. Get the villager first then place a new composter. Ive had to break and replace a couple times for their AI to kick in. If you move them past any profession blocks on the way to your farm they try to pathfind back to it and ignore the new one.

Also they don’t disappear you just don’t see the throwing animation because items go straight into hoppers when being dropped.

I can't get the villagers to attempt a trade. The chest dude is a fletcher and the farmer is farming the crops but not sharing. What gives?

i think you didn't place glowstone(or other block) on top of composter. They can't compost crops if composter is blocked from the top

Mine worked 1.21 but when you plant wheat tehy craft it to bread
when i try to push the second villager with the minecart it stops right on the boat

works with wheat but youll get mostly bread from it since villagers can craft bread. with the other crops you get the actual crop. not worth it as a wheat farm.

Hoppers can actually go through trapdoors, so there is no need to do that.
