Honestly, girls, I'm only a few years older than you (19) focus on your maths and English these will be the ones to bite you! I know from experience and you don't see it now but 16-19 is the most changing years of your life! I left school went college done drama dropped out and now I work full time in a restaurant wanting to do hospitality! it's crazy how your dreams and goals change in such a short time!
As Grace Shard said about UA-cam it might not even be around anymore when you both get older so focus on being happy and for two 16-year-olds it's amazing how smart and sensible you are realizing you need something to fall back on and not many young people realize this!
When I left school I never used any of my GCSE's again it's just maths and English that will honestly come back and hunt you as maths has done for me! I wish you both all the best

Good luck with your GCSEs!!! So I did mine 2 years ago now, and let me tell you. THEY MEAN NOTHING! obviously it’s nice to know you’ve done well, and you need a certain amount to get into your college course. But let me tell you, they aren’t worth the stress and when you leave school no one really asks to see them. They aren’t worth the stress, just focus on the ones you need and you want to do well at. I failed all 3 of my sciences, and no one has asked to see my grades, I’ve never been asked a science question again! Please don’t get too stressed just enjoy the time you have left at school because you do miss it once you leave xx
prom is like a glorified school disco basically! it is good fun if you have a good group of friends and its what you make it! but idk if this is just my experience, no matter how much u love what u look like on the day, u will probably always look back and have regrets about outfit and stuff because your style changes! like at the time, i absolutely loved my two piece dress and i felt stunning but now i wouldnt be seen dead in that type of dress but thats only because my style has changed and my body has changed and so i look better in tighter fitting things now whereas back then i tried to hide myself under a flowy dress and then made myself look worse ya know ur probs always gonna have regrets and its probably not gonna be as good as you'd imagine but it is what u make it and im sure youll have a great time if youve got a good group surrounding you to make it fun xx

Congrats girls. I think this will be a good fit for you (although trust me you will miss school). I can tell you’ve had the guidance of your mums and other adults in making an educated decision and this is so smart and mature of you. Can’t wait to see your videos.

Please don’t stress about your GCSEs they will be much easier than you expect, you guys seem so so planned I’m sure everything will turn out okay (I took mine last year) but igy cause I was stressed too but once they’re over you will wonder why you stressed them so much haha also for science look up videos on UA-cam there are SO MANY I mean you’ve probably seen or heard of free science lessons with that man who seems so boring and stern but honestly HE KNOWS THE FACTSS I literally remember watching a video of his on electrolysis 🤢 an hour before the my chemistry paper 2 exam memorised the key facts and I literally had a 3 page spread of electrolysis in that exam wow wow wow I thank him so much no way would’ve I got 8/7 in double science without him he was literally a life saver imagine If I did not watch his videos 😂😭💞 good luck !!
zoella xo I made lots of flash cards throughout the 2 years and would test myself on them by writing down what I thought the answer was on a piece of paper then correcting myself at the end in a different colour pen, after I would separate the flash cards into 2 different piles (what I knew and didn’t) also it’s really helpful to organise your flash cards into different topics so you can easily find what you are looking for. Videos really helped me too, past papers if you can find them or really any exam questions does your school use kerboodle? And also trying to create mindmaps from memory is good too/ really just everything tbh xxx if you don’t have time to create all the flash cards get quizlet! It’s an app version of flash cards and you’re able to view what others have made not sure if this helped because this was one big ramble sorryyy

Prom was the best day of year 11 imo x I wasn’t really looking forward to it but it was so much fun bc everyone just wanted to have a good time as it was our ‘last day of school’ 💗💗

I just done my gcses last year and honestly can relate with grace s but now that I've done them, gcses really aren't a big deal
I just want to say that you will both get through your gcses honestly it won’t be as hard as you think!! My mocks were so much harder than the real thing, I really recommend seneco and quizlet for science and English especially. It seems a lot of effort at the time but remember to give yourself time to relax and just turn your phone off and get it over and done with, it will he so worth it when you never have to think about science anymore😂 please don’t worry, I did combined science and you could drop 100 marks to get two 9s!!! Xx

I'm doing my GCSEs this year as well and my teachers always say not to take notes anymore because it wastes time they just say to read the revision guide and then do exam questions hope this helps with your revision x

I was so, so, so bad at English. I was stubborn and I didn’t revise, I baso didn’t care. I got a 2 in both English essays a few weeks before the real exam... I passed at a decent grade. Honestly don’t stress over gcses. Teachers make out as if they’re SO important. You’ll smash it

It’s so weird in England how schools work , like see in Scotland as soon as your 16 you can leave whenever you want , and can leave in the middle of exam time don’t need any proof that you are working or that

Update: I went to an interview for a costume/ garment making sort of course and got an unconditional offers I’m so excited. It feels so me, just gotta wait til September to start. I’m doing a costume/ character analysis project for my final piece for this year. I’m so passionate about this and can’t bloody wait aaaah x

It's so weird how school system works either in the UK or US. I live in Poland and you have prom when you're 18 and you can go to collage after you graduate school, which is when you're 18. How is that possible that at the age of 16 you're already having prom and applying to collage? I'm the same age as you are and I have 2 more years for that.

Hate to break it to u, but it’s so hard to live in America if ur English. Basically there are only a couple countries in the whole world where America won’t let u just pick up and move there, and England is one of them. So u would have to have a job in America to legally move

Please don’t take this the wrong way! I’ve been watching your channel for ages and this has been bugging me a lot! How come you two are adamant about being at the same college? I’ve been through sixth form personally and have seen the people that went there drop out bc their friend went there or they failed a course (they chose the sixth form / course bc their friend chose it).
Biggest advice, unless the college/ sixth form isn’t “good” eg course you want to do is bad 100% look at other options otherwise you won’t perform as well x
