You`ll see alot more scope companies in the future moving away from having numbers on the parallax adjustments. Most aren`t that precise, so companies are shifting away from putting numbers on the scopes now. I dont know how many people i`ve heard come back in a gun store complaining that the parallax numbers dont match the range they are shooting.
Yea, I’ve had one that was pretty close on what it said the parallax was, but on the fly adjustments shooting 22nrl I don’t even care. If it’s clear that’s where it stops.
The numbers on the parallax control ONLY agree with reality IF you have perfect vision. IF like me you don't have perfect vision the numbers on the parallax will always be WRONG! As the vast majority DON'T have perfect vision then WHY BOTHER with numbers on the parallax control???
Put some hearing and eye protection on brother....dont wanna see you get injured. Interesting, I never saw a "bridcage" flash hder from an AR15 on a bolt action!
We are running sub sonic 22 and it’s not loud enough to cause any major damage. There are few during matches that run full power and you get good laughs out of. The birdcage is mainly for a protection piece for the crown. Doesn’t really help with recoil
@@rekoobnad187 I bought the X5 in 5-25-x50, very pleased with mine. Mine is on my Howa1500 223 20in heavy barrel. Yeah, CZ457, HELL YEAH! You wont be disappointed. I love mine! Its a tack driver! I shoot the cheap CCI-SV, drives`em home brother!
@@D70340 I got to shoot it this weekend at the 22NRL match and the cci target I have fell hard after 150yds. I’m going to go back rezero it and try it again probably out to 200 and see. But I should have a decent amount of sk coming in and that’s mainly what I’ll be using from now on.
Thank you friend about your review.
I bought it but want to ask you more question is it made in China under the glass like this?
The direction R/L, U/D on your scope is where you want the round to go. Not where you want the reticle to go.

Did you have any ejection issues with that savage? I have the same gun and that’s my only complaint on it.
