Rule of thumb, if the the stores are making an effort to DRAW YOUR ATTENTION to a "deal", it's a deal that BENEFITS THEM.
If there is an UNUSUAL discount like something on clearance or liquidation, that's where you truly get good deals as a buyer. Except my local Ashley Furniture Home store which was "going out of business!" FOR SEVERAL YEARS, so _that_ was a lie. 🙄🙄🙄

It’s called consumption. It’s called living above your means. It’s called being irresponsible. Can we stop making up these ridiculous terms to make people feel better about their poor financial decisions. I’ve made dumb financial decisions. I didn’t call it Spaving. It was just stupid to spend what I didn’t have trying to get more stuff I didn’t need. Ain’t no SPAVING. You spend more over time you end up broke.

Money out is money out. Americans will literally make up anything in order to justify their need for instant gratification. Spaving has to be the most asinine thing I’ve ever heard. You either spend money or you save and invest it. Stop complicating it. Just because something is on sale doesn’t mean you should or need to buy it. Half the stuff we buy, we really do not need. Companies offering “deals” (BOGOF) (rewards points etc.) based on buying stuff you don’t need, is the point. They make money, while consumers keep buying and SPENDING. Oh sorry, SPAVING. 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭

It is all about the mindset and self control. Your ability to control your spending habits is 100% on you. No one is forcing you to death to buy more than you need lol

I ALWAYS use a calculator when shopping. That way I can accurately calculate exact $ per ounce, or gram, or pound, or kilo, or quart, or liter, or item, or serving, or use.
Things such as paper items (towels, toilet paper, printer paper, etc) don’t ’spoil’ so bulk is almost always cheaper.
Same with plastic items… sponges for instance.
Food is strictly rationed, experation dates are critical, frozen or fresh, etc.
Learn to THINK when spending your hard-earned money.
And yes, occasionally I spend $$ to save ‘time’. I only get 24 hours a day, no amount of $$ can buy me more ‘time’.
Time to spend with family is the best way to spend my $$.

That's buying wholesale which is slightly different. What she's talking about is when you buy stuff you wouldn't have purchased otherwise in order to "get a deal."

    • @paillette2010
      @paillette2010 6 місяців тому

You need to price compare, Cost of isn’t the deal. It’s more like you find the things you like at Costco.
A lot of creators make $$$ shilling Costco deals, but it’s always on stuff you weren’t planning to buy.

A lot of people lose money at Costco. You need to calculate whether it's suitable for you.

lol. Give one example in history where communism worked. If communism ever worked before, the world would be communist. If someone uses that many emojis they have to be pretty delusional already…

There is significant evidence that what you propose has resulted in widespread poverty across the world. It motivates production but does not motivate capital investment or new technology. Is it better to have one person who can do the work of 10, or 10 people doing that work?
The goal of wealth creation is to make people do more with less resulting in more goods and services being produced for the maximum amount of people.
