Yeah she did, but I don't know if it was seen from a judges perspective. Also the thing is, they always talk about difficulcy being rewarded and she does a layout landing on two feet, which even in the FIG CoP is an E skill, so a full 0.2 more worth than a layout-stepout, which is a C skill. So I guess since thw wobble was tiny they were easier on it with the fact in mind that it is college gymnastics and the deductions here work a bit differently overall.

In college they reward you if your routine is more difficult. You can never get a score over 10, but if your difficulty is higher than whats needed, they will not be very harsh in deductions. Also, they just look at HUGE mistakes 😅
That was not a 9.6 a 9.6 would be that she wobbled lots of times or missed a connection. She did a little bobble so it maybe would just be a 9.9 or 9.975😂😂 and don’t judge when it’s spelled “dismount”

I can't even do a cartwheel on the floor...
@@aishijelly 😅
I can't even balance on a beam
Don't worry I can't even walk on the beam 🤣
she had a bobble on the layout but good job sis
Yeah she did, but I don't know if it was seen from a judges perspective. Also the thing is, they always talk about difficulcy being rewarded and she does a layout landing on two feet, which even in the FIG CoP is an E skill, so a full 0.2 more worth than a layout-stepout, which is a C skill. So I guess since thw wobble was tiny they were easier on it with the fact in mind that it is college gymnastics and the deductions here work a bit differently overall.
She's honestly one of the only ones that takes risks. Others don't take them because they want a perfect ten. She got a 10 from one judge when she did it to the full twist.
Show her how it's done
A bobble do you mean wobble? Maybe learn to spell before correcting things that you can't do
PFHHHH. UR NOT THE GODDAMN JUDGE.
Extrêmement intéressant ! Merci a vous deux
So proud
that wink was 😍😍😍😍
Katelyn Ohashi is wife goals! I love curvy women😍😘💍❤️👊🏾🌹 #TheBae
The fact that they said she did the same tumbling pass when she was 12
Beautiful!
Amazing 👏👏
Love her, but not a 10. There is no way the judges did not see that balance check unless they were all in the hallway.
SParkApCider College gymnastics isn't a precise with scoring. It's a little more leaniet about it.
SParkApCider college gymnastics is judged easier then olympics, that’s probably why..
SParkApCider difficulty bonus
She got rewarded for taking a risk and not falling, because difficulty is NOT needed in college gymnastics. She only had a slight balance check, so they can't be harsh on her for the risk. Most of them don't take risks like that. Katelyn still takes it back to her elite days even if it's just one skill. Didn't do the full twist here, but it isn't something college gymnasts dare to do. Even ones that were olympians. They want a secure good score with something easy.
Yea
finally at 10 who don't look like she's 10 a real 10 so rare so powerful and to say that they use to shame her for a muscular body
i liked that little dance she did at the end, you can tell she was very excited
What she does it always so good
OMG👑👑
She seems happier than any gymnast i've seen at the elite level. it's just not worth it if you're going to be putting your mental health at risk.
She is a PERFECT 10 all the way. I pray that she wins GOLD & soon because she deserves it. 👍👍👍
She's just beautiful ❤️❤️❤️
she makes it look so easy 😳
She wobbled on her first pass

Samic Gymnast so that’s not a big deduction and she probably did something with bonus just for taking the risk
Samic Gymnast please you correct terms first of all and second the judges are on the side
Samantha Xiong cool, we all noticed
THEN YOU DO IT
She is amazing
This is perfection
the layout the flexed foot in the aerial legs apart in the dismmount pretty amazing but more like a 9.6
BlueGrips I’ve never understood college judging
In college they reward you if your routine is more difficult. You can never get a score over 10, but if your difficulty is higher than whats needed, they will not be very harsh in deductions. Also, they just look at HUGE mistakes 😅
ilona sabanci Haha, are you a judge?
That was not a 9.6 a 9.6 would be that she wobbled lots of times or missed a connection. She did a little bobble so it maybe would just be a 9.9 or 9.975😂😂 and don’t judge when it’s spelled “dismount”
Your not the judge...and to everyone who is saying it is not a perfect 10

This isn’t a perfect ten

People saying it’s not a perfect ten, like it’s not the Olympics is college gymnastics 🤸
She has grace. Beautiful
She's so graceful
Hermosa!!!!
Don't quote me on this, but I'm pretty sure the bonus for the skill difficulty replaces the deduction from the mistake or something like that, so in elite she would've gotten the deduction but in college basically she didn't, that's why she got a 10! Also I think it's to do with the judges, some might give a deduction some may not!
How can anybody be doing flips on a tiny beam and look so happy???? She is amazing.
