Meet Dr. Andrew Baker, Scientific Research Pillar Director of Critical Care and St. Michael’s Hospital’s Chief of Critical Care and Anesthesia.
Baker is passionate about improving critical care, which is care for patients who face time-sensitive, life-threatening illnesses.
He says research conducted at Unity Health over the past decade made a big difference in the survival of patients with COVID. “It’s this sort of thing that’s inspiring us to continue, so that critical care won’t be the same 10 years from today.”
