The perfect song for this character…beautiful! Octavia broke the day Lincoln was executed…people say she “died” that day, which I don’t entirely agree with…no, she wasn’t the same afterwards, but she most definitely wasn’t dead either. She was as formidable as they came. She was strong, but lost. She lost sight of what she was fighting for during those five years in the bunker, which caused her to lose her way. She lost herself, which is why she was so broken…she not only felt alone, but she felt isolated. Nobody truly understood her, and at least for the beginning of her torment, people really (mis)judged her a lot, and quite harshly.
