I love reading classics, history books and historical fiction! My favourite authors include Jane Austen, Agatha Christie, the Bronte sisters and Virginia Woolf. I'm a huge history geek so expect lots of chat about the Tudors and the Georgians! I have a BA in English Literature from York St. John University and an MA in Literary Studies specialising in the Eighteenth-Century from the University of York.

You guys in the UK are SO lucky to have so many wonderful bookshops (especially independents) to visit! Bookshops here in NZ have dwindled so much, & the few around are so far away from me 😢

Hello Claire just came across your video and really enjoyed it. I used to live in Bloomsbury 100 years ago so it was lovely to be taken down memory lane. I have already put the book, The social life of books on my list but will try and visit Judd books and have it on my buying list. I love history and agree that propaganda around Mary the first is like the negative propaganda around Richard the third and non English documents could give a more rounded and honest history. Finally love your necklace could you tell me where you purchased it though I do pottery as a hobby and may attempt to make it.
Yes, there's a lot of Tudor propaganda with Richard III though I'm not a Richardian just yet ahaha
