Hello sir i have question sir about this if ever i will use flow transmitter like magnetic flow is this calculation needed or not . Or only need this calculation if i only use dp flow transmmitter im right sir i hope you answer my confusion thank you
Hello Nelson Thanks for asking this question. You need this calculation only if you use DP Transmitter. You don't need any calculation if you are using Mag Flowmeter
DPT is differential pressure transmitter. It measures differential pressure between high side and low side. And calculates flow according to differential pressure. Generally, flow rate is directly proportional to square root of differential pressure. Whereas FT is flow transmitter. It could be any type. For example, magnetic flow transmitter, ultrasonic FT, differential pressure FT.
