    1. Calculate Maximum Flow Rate, Differential Pressure & Controller Output?
    2. Calculate 4 to 20 mA from Percentage
    Converting 4 to 20mA Linear Signal to and from Square Root Extraction Signal
    Some pressure measurements are used to derive another type of measurand indirectly. One of such measurements is the Rate of Flow of a gas or liquid. The flow rate along a closed pipe is directly proportional to the square root of the pressure drop or differential pressure between two points.

    Hello sir i have question sir about this if ever i will use flow transmitter like magnetic flow is this calculation needed or not . Or only need this calculation if i only use dp flow transmmitter im right sir i hope you answer my confusion thank you

      Hello Nelson
      Thanks for asking this question. You need this calculation only if you use DP Transmitter. You don't need any calculation if you are using Mag Flowmeter

    Please I need the answer for this question what is the difference between (DPT) and (FT) ?

    • @InstrumentCalibration
      @InstrumentCalibration  3 роки тому +2

      DPT is differential pressure transmitter. It measures differential pressure between high side and low side. And calculates flow according to differential pressure. Generally, flow rate is directly proportional to square root of differential pressure. Whereas FT is flow transmitter. It could be any type. For example, magnetic flow transmitter, ultrasonic FT, differential pressure FT.
