Nothing honing on the charge bar when I click on “flash firmware
Make sure your using the speedybee f405 wing firmware if that won't work try a different data cable.
Hi, I’m not able to go to DFU mode, I hold the boot button before connecting but the lights are not flashing on the board , any idea maybe, thank you
Have you tried a different cable? some USB cables they will not accept. I had the same issue for a while until I tried a different cable. It has to be a data cable. Also try powering up the craft via battery see if that helps.
@@stonesrcchannelHi, thank you for your answer, finally after hours of trying I found out that I need to update the driver, after that I was able to flash the controller, thank you and have a nice day
@@carlboulianne4284 I’m glad that you worked it out! Happy flying!
@@carlboulianne4284 hello what driver did you update? still cant update mine because it shows up as failed to restart in device manager
15:15 when I hit "flash firmware" just nothing happens, it just say failed to connect please help and "DFU" also isn't showing up in the com port section
Sounds like your not holding down the boot button on the extender when connecting the USB cable to the PC. If you are then it could be missing the latest STM driver.
In that part of the video I never mentioned holding the boot button on the USB extender so that may be your problem. The manual says to hold it down when connecting to PC. Hopefully that solves your problem
@@stonesrcchannel correct! It was lacking dfu driver. thank you for replying stonesRC!
@@sahilmansoori3511 great to hear glad that you have it sorted out. Hopefully it’s a great flight controller for you as it has been for me. Any issue please ask I’ll do my best to help out. Happy flying!
can I get link to by the FC?
Link is in the description of the video
when i connect it to inav it would not detect the f405 wing mini for some reason tried different cables its so frustrating why is it not plug and play :|
@@meareAaron Are you holding in the boot button on the USB extender while connecting it? If you are it sounds like a driver issue. Download the latest STM driver and see if it fixes it.
@@stonesrcchannel yep i was holding it before connecting usb but all it would do was just change to a different wireless mode and the led changes colors instead of connecting to inav
thanks ill try the stm driver when i do find it
@@meareAaron or try using “impulse rc driver fixer” that has helped me quite a few times to get them into dfu mode to flash.
finally got it working turns out the jst wire connecting the buzzer and usb to the main board was not fully seated🤦
@@meareAaron damn such a pain when something so simple is the cause, I’ve been there and done that lol. I’m glad to hear you have it sorted.
Are you sure that's the mini?? Looks like the normal F405 wing to me.
Yeah it’s the f405 mini there’s a link in the description if you want to check it out further.
Don't buy this FC it's crap, I had rx uart problems, servo outputs went bad after five minutes on the bench while testing servos. I moved the servo output to S6 from S4 and got the servo working again but then the motor output on S2 went bad. Believe me, I pulled the servos and ESC all working fine with a servo tester. I even swapped the ESCs on the header pins S1 & S2 the problem just moved from not running the right motor to the left motor.
That’s no good to hear have you spoken to Speedybee regarding it? Mine has been fine so far and others I know of that are using so far find it a good product. I have had the larger f405 wing in a plane for nearly 2 years and it’s also been great although not perfect but it hasn’t failed. I hope in my case the mini will live up to that time will tell I guess.
@@stonesrcchannel Yes I have contacted Speedybee support about the problem just waiting to hear back. Glad you've had success with your purchases. Happy Flying!
