RWBY AMV | This Will Be the Day

This is my first AMV so I thought it would be best to use a song that signifies the beginning of something new. I intend to make various AMVs about different themes and ships in RWBY as well as using them as “musical character studies”.
Despite others already using this song, I felt “Day” would be an appropriate starting point and that my take on the AMV/song would fit well with this new beginning theme. As it’s an opening song, this is first thing we hear every time we watch the latest episode. Coincidentally, Day is the opening song for Volume 1 - the start of RWBY. Additionally, this led to less use of action shots compared to what more experienced editors use, however, I think this makes for a nice change. With this in mind, I wanted to set this AMV apart from others also using Day. The first third of the song is about the main eight wanting to be Huntsmen/Huntresses, looking forward to the future and having fun, etc with some shots foreshadowing future events (as in second half of V3 onwards). The middle section focuses on some of background events and historical context. The last third takes a darker turn, involving the villains plotting in the background and the obscure history of Remnant that has all built up to this moment.
