  • Reassembling and installing my cylinder heads.
    Ford 351w DOOE heads modified with stainless steel valves, screw in rocker studs and pushrod guide plates. Intake and exhaust has also been ported

    Hello, I watched the first cylinder head video - that engine should run really strong with the early 351 heads, port work and setup. I can say please do not use those factory Ford 2 piece retainers! get a set of 1 piece aftermarket chrome moly retainers from Summit, Competition products, Alex parts, etc. the factory 2 piece units are heavy and really arent designed to rev up to the levels I hope you are planning on running that thing.

      The entire valvetrain is made by trickflow and the retainers are chromoly. I don't think I'll be revving it as high as you think

      @@ProjectBarnI see the studs, guide plates and the springs. The valve spring retainers in the video looks like the factory Ford 2 piece valve spring retainers, if they are 1 piece style should be good to go! Looking forward to seeing it run!

    You mentioned you adjusted the rocker sude to side contact with the valve but you did not say how? If you did not adjust the guide, hkw did you fix the contact?

      I adjusted the pushrod guide
