Not saying you're wrong. But people make this assumption about all their favorite creators and players until a new story comes out. Don't put these people on a pedestal. We've seen the dangers of parasocial relationships too many times in this community.
Edit: just to add to this...there are people in the scene who knew him personally and were friends with him. They saw him when the game and camera was off, and even they are still shocked and saddened by the news. So if his personal friends and colleagues didn't know about his true side, what makes us, as viewers and consumers, think we know what kind of person a creator or player could be outside of their content?

To be fair, I think most of the spirit battles Kirby is a part of are the ones that happen outside of World of Light, cause he doesn’t start popping up as an enemy in that mode until the dark world segment iirc

@@Gohka Also interesting is that if wadi was 1 year younger, Romeo and Juliet laws apply. I think a 3 (or 4 in some states) year age gap is permitted since it'd be stupid to jail couples who got together in highschool once one of them reaches 18.

For question 1, as some bonus trivia, he doesn't hold a weapon but DK is also ambidextrous in Ultimate, as the hand he uses for his giant punch (both charging and releasing) is always the one that's facing away from the camera (so he uses his left hand when facing right and his right hand when facing left). This is a change from previous games where it was always his left hand regardless of which direction he was facing.

1) Corrin...? I don't know who uses a hand in a forward smash that isn't using a weapon, except Corrin extending into a spike. [Wolf? There could probably be cases made for a bunch of characters, some might have mirrored positions facing right/left, so this first question is kinda dumb. Glad the point count gave Corrin to the two anyway, so I do too.]
2) Only thing that comes to mind is Steve's little 'burp', but not sure that's what they're going for. [Ah, Snake. PKBeats may have pointed this out once, but I don't remember.]
3) Duck Hunt's probably sniffing the floor, dogs do that.
4) A character that speaks two languages... Oh yeah, Bayonetta. Normally it's English/your set language, her forward smash says a Japanese phrase from Virtua Fighter sometimes, and her final smash she'd say "Avagago", an Enochian (ancient language) word which characters back there like using.
5) Snake's taunts can't be cancelled since he's in the box, and I think Kazuya's the other one (mainly thinking of his taunt attack). [Ah, if we're counting any instance of a taunt that attacks... Yeah. Surprised neither came up with Snake, unless exiting the box counts as cancelling. I'll take the point though.]
6) The first to be released in a theater... Either Mewtwo from the first Pokemon movie, or Mario from that terrible old one. [Mario, alright. Pokemon didn't get its movie until 1999, dang.]
7) Probably ROB, right? He's robot, so not really having gender. [Oh, Plant. They were thinking "who has both genders", though chances are those characters are referred as their base gender, like Wii Fit is female and all the Fire Emblem people are male.]
8) Most attack to reflect... I think Mega Man. 3/4 specials, f-smash, up air, down air, lemons... [Oh, Hero, and ESAM made a thing about him.]
9) You think I'd remember the most common spirit fighter from my grind on beating everything spiritless? ...Zelda. [Oh, Kirby, the whole mascot of Smash. Right.]
10) Meta Knight "come back when you can put up a fight", and Sephiroth vanishing into fire.
11) I think Snake, but I'm probably missing something. I swear I saw this question before. [Oh, Diddy's British. Give him some tea and all that.]
12) Oh, that's Samus. Two hits of jab, a punch then an overly slow arm cannon swing. I've usually seen Samus players do the first jab then run away and pivot grab.
13) Hasta be Mario with the most stages. [Yoshi having 5 stages... I mean, he's the only "Yoshi" character compared to like 6 or 7 "Mario" characters, but the question's a bit silly.]
14) Villager.
15) Mario, I can call a few notable trailers he's starred in.
16) [ESAM follows instructions right away. "First one to enter the webpage and say the character wins."]
Marss: Wait, there is a Smash Dojo? And this.... is worth.... 5 points...? Dang, that's kind of a lot. Wait, do I have to guess it? Goku! [Wasted a lot of time and then guessed an anime character that's never going to officially appear in this video game designed for video game characters.]
I think the quiz didn't say corrin since they use both hands for their forward smash, sword hand for the charge and off hand for the attack- which definitely means they're ambidextrous but doesn't exactly fit the wording of the question
When it comes to the 3 languages in 1 match question, Pokémon Trainer is a good honorable mention, cause Charizard keeps its’ Japanese voice in all versions of the game since it doesn’t speak, and the other two Pokémon keep their English names and voices in the Spanish & Italian versions of the game, but the trainer themselves has a dub for both of those languages, so if you set the game to Spanish or Italian, you get JP, NA, and EU voice actors in one character.
For “This character has the most stages in Smash Ultimate”, it’s Mario. Without even looking at a list, there’s the Super Mario Bros. one, the Smash 64 Mario 64 one, the Mario 64 castle, the Super Mario Bros. 3 one, Mushroomy Kingdom, the Super Mario Bros. U one, the Mario Maker one, New Donk City, the two Mario Kart stages, and I’m sure I’m missing some.
I guess they meant with their name in the Stage name.
Still, wooly world isn't in Ultimate.
The fact that both had to question what Smash Dojo was, made me a bit sad lol

Anyway, I got 6 out of 15 right, I did better when it came to the characters themselves then the actual in-depth stuff when it comes to them being in Smash Bros. However, I feel like crying foul on the answer to Question 15, I feel like Mario had to have appeared the most... Then again, maybe I should rewatch the trailers and see for myself.
Everyone turning on Wadi is expected but no less irritating. People never learn to just fucking wait for more information to come out.
For question 6 wouldn't there be two correct answers, since the movie features 2 characters? Actually, now that I think about it, it could even be 3 or 4 characters from that movie, depending on the angle you want to take.

Regarding the “who appears in the most CGI trailers” there is no mention of it’s focusing on just ultimate or even just ultimate newcomers. It claims Krool however considering the series it’s Mario with Link being a very close second only behind by 1 iirc. In just Ultimate you have Mario in 6 (7 if you count WoL) Ken and Incin’s were a conjoint trailer so really Krool’s only in 5 trailers (6 including WoL). The question could’ve worked too, just had to ask “which Ultimate newcomer appeared in the most newcomer trailers”

My first thought on the taunts was snake because you actually can't cancel any of his taunts, so I thought that was the criteria and assumed there must be someone else who you can't cancel any taunts, but there isn't and that question was just kind of dumb.

Hero absolutely SHOULD be banned.
He isn't broken, he isn't popular, he isn't particularly problematic in practice, but he does have the most fundamentally uncompetitive/inaccessible move in the game, in the form of menu.
It literally does not matter how good the menu or the entire character is. Reading comprehension should NEVER be a skill-test in a fighting game, EVER. If both players speak different languages (like is becoming more common with US vs. Japan sets), or if a player is dyslexic or otherwise reading impaired, it creates such an insane imbalance that has never existed in any other fighting game.
Outside of Nintendo reworking the move to use pictures or something, it is fundamentally an unworkable design and should not be allowed in tournament. At a minimum, players should have to gentlemen's on if he can be used. A dyslexic or non-native language speaker should not be forced to play the matchup. Roughly 20% of people are dyslexic, and probably at least 50% of the player base for Smash doesn't speak English. It just shouldn't even be a debate.

Yo, this quiz is ASS. There're so many questions that're just wrong. On top of the ones Marss and ESAM caught, Yoshi doesn't even have 5 stages. Wooly World's not in Ultimate. Probably because of stage morph? But yeah, it's not in the game.
Plus, in what world does Yoshi have more than Mario? Peach's Castle 64 and Melee, Mushroom Kingdom 64, Rainbow Cruise, and Mushroom Kingdom 2 already beat Yoshi's numbers and that's before even accounting for any game after Melee.
For the Yoshi stage thing, I think it’s because the stages are specifically Yoshi’s. Peach’s castle technically is Peach’s stage, not Mario’s. I had the same confusion

Samus's jab 2 is a grounded anti-air option that also covers forward approaches and can lead into tech chases with nair and charge shot. it's not excellent but it absolutely has a purpose. this idea that they would give a zoning projectile-heavy fighter a jab combo and also a teardrop confirm and also the wackiest up tilt and also the spiciest down air is starting to get ridiculous.
You say “jab combo” as if it’s a premium option only certain characters get rather than literally every other character with more than a jab 1

it's mentioned in her tips, instead of assuming it is totally unintentional, try asking yourself 'HOW is this intentional?'
