Radiohead isn't underrated and it very much aren't overrated. I'd say Radiohead is perfectly rated.

@@anaccount1005 according to you. they're one of the most critically acclaimed bands to ever exist. you can have an opinion, but the general consensus is that they're a great band. the point they're making in this video just doesn't make sense.

honestly, didn’t know people hated on RHCP until i watched this video and read some comments. i kind of thought they were one of those bands that everyone liked
aw man i wish i could genuinely say that, just read the pitchfork review of Blood Sugar Sex Magik, i feel like a lot of music snobs look less and less fondly on their entire career (imo most of everything before BSSM rules)

Charlie Steen is underrated, beautiful man
Seen these live in the summer at all points east in London. They were one of the stand out performances tbh. Went to the festival for Nick Cave and he was outshined by these guys imo! Not the most talented but very entertaining and they really do give it 100%. Can't ask for more.
Don’t mean to argue, but the talent is the sound. They sound amazing. They’re not trying to write technical music. It’s post punk.
@@punkinmyvitamins1 I think since I originally posted this they have improved a tonne with their instruments and how they make their sound. Seen shame a few times now and never get let down by them

@@50ShadesOfEndo Their discography is more perfect than the beatles and they've taken on more forms and pushed boundaries, but at the end of the day the beatles can just make you feel more things, AND they had a run which was pretty much just as good in terms of consistency. I think the Beatles take it just from being capable of making you experience a full spectrum of emotion rather than just one corner. Both amazing though, and the fact that radiohead are still putting out good stuff is truly ridiculous.

I’ve spoke to people who have called them a “boring” band. They don’t appeal to everyone, a bit like marmite.
kildog I saw them at primavera a couple years back and they blew my fucking mind they were that good. Sometimes you’ve gotta see it for yourself to really appreciate it.
Can someone explain to me how they are posh? I'm American and they don't seem that way to me? Also, I agree with them that they shouldn't do Americanized versions of British shows, UNLESS it's a reality show because I feel like that is different.
I don't think most Americans tend to realize what a typical, working class british person is like. Most of the brits with american exposure are fairly "posh," so that is often perceived to be the norm.

Even though they have high levels of musicianship, Radiohead are boring as all hell to me. Glad for whoever generally enjoys their music, but not my cup of tea.
