Love that you work your cattle on horseback! One day I was wishing my neighbor worked his that way. For some reason a young bull decided to take on me and my riding mare!!! I couldn't get off my horse to open the gate and get away from him. I promise you have never seen a woman that mad! My neighbor found out one of his hands had been playing with that bull since it was a calf. They didn't keep that bull very long. He was really a good looking bull, but he wasn't like your bulls. I guess life is short enough without having a "playful" bull. Ya'll stay safe!!
Thank you brother, I love the Dynamics of your Faith driven family. The reason I say that is today's culture wants to show a different picture of a family.
I really really live this video. I wish I could have been there as well. That was so awesome going through the tunnels the one was really narrow. I always wanted to do a real cattle drive. God Bless you and your family and Jac as well and his family if he has one.
My goodness, it just gets more beautiful. I didn't realize that the temperature gets so hot there. For me I don't like the heat & humidity . Take care and thanks.
Good video I love when your parents came around you they got interacted with the Cows an I love the green country and one day when I get my what is the shop I would like to butcher some beef from you I’m gonna be on Delaware
@@sleepranch 🏴did you get my message re Wales and Brixham !.? Loved this trip along with you Carson! Beautiful country....interesting tunnels. So glad you decided to start youtubing so we can see how you make a living 🙂
Wow!!! I would suspect it would be scary for those calves…. They can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel…What a beautiful bunch of calves…Do you have any problems with the calves mothering up to their mommas….The grass looks pretty good… Bring on the rain….Wash it a warm rain or cold rain??? Glad there wasn’t and hail…. Great job moving those cows…Have a great day…
Hey Carson, Nice cattle drive, the last tunnel was a long one,do you have to check them for snakes before you send cattle through? I think it's awesome how you can ride across the interstate on your 4 wheelers and horse's ours here in Wisconsin are all fenced and not really allowed on the easement. Nice video you made. I sent you an email also.
Thanks Jeff, yep we do check them sometime. That interesting they don’t allow you to do that in Wisconsin. Thanks for the email but I can’t seem to find it, if you wouldn’t mind sending it again that’d be awesome!
Having a horse freak out when everyone is crammed inside that shorter height, dark tunnel would be an "interesting" event. 😂So happy to see the good rains and GREEN growth coming on there for you! Hurray for that! We have another snowstorm coming in Thursday and have had a lot of heavy rains so its just a mud pit in every direction. If we would just get some warm weather hit, we would be SO relieved. Our cold temps have just not brought on any grass and we are severely low on remaining hay. Sure is going to be beautifully green when it does warm up though! Trump seems to be doing really well with his eye! He's a great horse all around. You must be truly relieved about that because a great ranch horse is hard to find. Hope all the herd moving keeps going smoothly and Jacques' "butt crack" issues are resolved. Had me laughing so hard I spit my coffee everywhere with that one! 🤠🤣
Thanks RSP, glad you’re getting moisture but I hope it warms up for you guys! Good horses are very hard to find and we’ve had some bad experiences with them blowing up in the tunnels before. Take care and God Bless!
Carson let Jacque know, hope it's spelt right, as a plumber I know his pain about water in the butt crack LOL! Great video and I loved seeing the green on your property. Enjoyed seeing the boss of the ranch along, your Mom, making sure it went smoothly. Stay safe.
Nice job on the video it is interesting and educating. You are over 7K subscribers now. Nice to see the family out, a nice bunch of calves in that group. Dutch seems to be figuring things out. Hope the rain gets your pastures growing up well. Stay safe and healthy.
That last tunnel under the interstate was pretty small. Not sure my horses would have went into it but looks like yours are well trained. Great video and thank goodness for the moisture.
I'd never expected those small tunnels under the interstate. What a job! Also, what a great and beautiful piece of rolling green land especially with your family driving those cows. EDIT: Seeing you all ride out at the end in the rain looked like it could be a picture from 150 years ago, great to see.
Oh my word!! Running cows near the interstate lends a whole new dimension to things. That last tunnel!! Either you turned the camera off during the toughest parts or those cows are flat amazing!! How many miles trailing cows that day? Our longest day is about 17 miles with most of it out in the middle of nowhere so pretty easy going compared to yours.
Great video Carson. I never saw cows being herded through a tunnel before so that was very interesting to see. Especially the second tunnel that was longer and hard to see. Thought maybe the horses would get spooked while in the dark tunnels. Can tell they are well trained and very trusting of being lead by people. Your dad taking a spill made for good coverage, hope he is ok. Glad you all were able to look at the positive side of being totally soaked and cold. What would you say is worse, herding cows in a heavy snow storm or pouring rain? Thanks for filming under those difficult conditions.
We started using dogs four years ago and it’s a process getting the rite dog and learning how to handle them but when it comes together you won’t be without one. Sure enjoy your videos.
I've seen some YT'ers use a strap that goes around the upper torso ( shoulders and chest) and the camera is located on the upper part of chest. Hands free.
Haha that’s very true! The guy we got him from named him Trump because he loves the ladies, is cocky and he looks like him so we thought the name fit well, stay safe as well!
Your horses are beautiful love watching you work the cows on horses.
Sure feel good to watch you all today

What a cool video. I liked the going through the tunnel probably better than the humans and the cattle.

I'm with your mom. I wouldn't have been crazy about going into that long tunnel.
Haha I don’t blame you!
Good Job! Older cows did a pretty good job at leading the way.
Thanks Thomas! They helped a lot!
I have been praying alot for the ranchers out west to get some good old rain showers. Looks like if you believe things do happen for a reason !

Another good video. The cattle sure make a lot of noise. The life of a cowboy is not always fun. I love those videos.
