- A gunman is being hunted by police after a shooting at a city property. Officers were alerted to a gun being used in broad daylight in Perry Barr yesterday afternoon.
West Midlands Police said the incident happened, on Glendower Road, at 4pm, yesterday, Saturday, May 11. A gunshot caused damage to a property, police said.
in other news, A 45-year-old man was found with stab injuries on Saturday evening. He was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
Following quick-time enquiries we identified suspects and two teenage boys were detained.
The boys aged 16 and 15 were remanded to appear before Birmingham Magistrates Court today (14 May).
A 35-year-old man who was arrested on suspicion of assisting offenders has been released on police bail while enquiries continue.
Our patrols in and around Langley Hall Park will continue this week to offer reassurance to the local community.

The Wolverhampton story is so inaccurate, do your own research instead of reading of express and star.
In that house was 6 people, 4 siblings (2 girls and 2 boys), mother and father.
Unfortunately the sisters died and the mother was taken to hospital with serious injuries which included a fractured spine and broken jaw after she flew out the window upon expulsion.
The father got third degree burns and the siblings got unscathed.
The people arrested are both brothers and the father.
The reason as to why they’ve been arrested is because the father and sons used to sell fuel illegally from the house and some how ended up lighting up the fuel hence why the dad and both sons have been arrested for the murders.
That’s the reason why WMP have only said the people arrested are known to the girls and the media are running with it to sell juicy stories by saying the girls were known to their killers.
I understand why you feel the need to explain that but please understand we cannot speculate on why someone was killed before a trial as it may jeopardise justice for the family etc, we will only ever report police statements in the first report until we know for certain the reasons and motives etc, thanks for feedback
