She decided to wait until she gets back from camp before she lets me dye her hair. I used her joke and told her it’s a camp for blind teens, so it’s not like her friends there will notice if it comes out bad. Oh well. I have the bleach ready and she is thinking of some hidden rainbow pieces.

You know what I think would be really fun, based on this video? We've seen brad critique people's videos, and we've seen him demonstrate proper technique on real people and mannequins, but have we ever seen him guide someone else through the process in real time?
It would be cool to see him with a complete bleaching virgin and they're doing it themselves and brad is mostly hands-off, but he can give tips and guide them back on track if/when they mess up. He could even go shopping with them, let them pick out products and then give input on what they picked.

Because of your videos I have started going to the salon again. It used to be such a big source of joy and confidence for me and I let a bum boy years ago convince me it was a waste of time and shame me for it. Your videos always make my Sundays better. The box product the first girl used; I believe is actually a bleaching kit. However, the problem always come back to: if you do it wrong (don't read the instructions, don't watch any videos, etc.), it won't work.
I don't understand how people go so wrong with bleach. It's not that hard!

I’m about to bleach my hair for the first time at home. I bought BlondMe but unfortunately due to my patience, I only got the 9%/30 vol developer. I do understand that this bleach is intense, and I understand I’m working with chemicals but I had one (probably ridiculous) question…. Could I get a 3%/10vol developer to dilute the 30 (so I’m making 20) or should that never be done? I’d follow the measurements, of course, and the ratios. If I can, Could I use any decent developer in combination with the BlondMe? I was going to do a test strand of course. And then I was going to try to do some baby lights first just to see if it’ll blend my white/gray hair more than it is now (I’m also planning on toning my hair of course but I’m not sure which shade yet as I want to see what my hair lightens to). I’m currently a level 4 brunette. Thanks, ahead of time lol. And goodness, I don’t want a bleach fail because bleach is no joke. Watching all these fail videos has taught me more than I thought they would’ve lol.
@@Jess0212 you can dilute 30 volume with 10 for 20 volume, 1:1 ratio of 30 and 10 will give you 20 vol

I bleached my hair with confidence because of you Brad ❤❤❤ I mean, I kinda ran out of bleach at the last section and didn't didn't have enough to do my roots, but I was totally confident the whole time.
I think it'd be great if you did a video talking/showing the differences of cream vs oil developer, off vs on/off skelp bleach, and cream vs powder bleach. I've personally never noticed a difference with these products but I only do hair for fun and am self taught, I'd be interested in a professionals take.

Brad, I would love a video on using your (or other brand) dye on grey(ing) hair. As someone with extremely dark hair, I was never brave enough to try to bleach my hair light enough for some really fun colors. But I've said my whole life "I can't wait to start going grey so I can finally use some bright, fun colors!" But grey hair is hard to get color to take. Are some pigments better than others? Is there any prep we can do to open the cuticles and make them more receptive to the dye? Would heat help? I'd really love a vid on getting grey hair to take (xmondo) bright/rainbow dye. I literally can't find a single video about how to prep grey hair to take funky color semipermanent dyes. I think it's a hole in content you'd be great at filling. We Millennials are entering our 40s but we still love our punky colors! Thanks for the great content!

I've lightened my own hair for years. It's naturally about the color of chocolate. I kept it blonde for a good 10 years, went about 5 being all kinds of colors besides blonde, and about a year ago went blonde again. And I use box dye, but it's not too damaged. It's not perfect but it's not too bad. I once lightened it like 7 times in 3 ways in about 2 months and that messed it up... but that was going blonde from SPLAT dark dark nearly black blue...
Professional stylist here & the way I just gasped at the dark dark blue splat. I’m honestly shocked you were able to even get to blonde! That stuff is no joke 😩

Honestly....the first girls final results is exactly how it looked in the 2000s....a lot of girls did that at home and had it all shades of orange and yellow.

Hey, Brad! I actually use that Feria "box dye" the 1st girl used and it's actually a bleach kit with 30 vol.
Everytime I see these bleach fails I am reminded of the time my friend asked me to bleach her hair, claiming I OBVIOUSLY knew how to do it since I always had crazy colors and bleached hair, and WOULD NOT listen to me saying it was my mom that did it (And tbf did it well). I more or less gave her accidental cheetah print all over her hair in different tones of orange, brown and blonde. It was awful.
