EV is & are not the solution, unsustainable cost to manufacturer, uneconomic to even think they will replace the internal combustion engine in the short term let alone the long term. Practical transport/movement was the theory with EV's but the hidden costs can not be recouped. the design of hydrogen units are a future in transport due to efficiency and cost. The manufacturer of any vehicles must be in the US and not imported. Cost effective motoring can only be achieved if there's a reality check from the motor industry. Units produced within the US must be made with 100% components from the US (when was last time this happened?)
Time 153 110 volt charger, 8 hours to full charge. This is overnight $ 7 to 8,000 to get it hooked up? Well, no. A 110 Volt charger is hand held and plugs into a regular wall socket. A 220 volt charger needs the same type of wiring as an electric stove, water heater , clothes dryer. So maybe $ 500 + a charger.

How many years you need burn petrol in your engine so that to approach to money spent from start for the EV? 😂
And how do you charge an EV? Most probably with coal -> CO2. Manufacture an EV is much more CO2 intensive than a normal car. Takes 15?! years to break even?

A 240 outlet will get give you a full charge in about 8 hours but it only costs a few hundred dollars (not 7-10 thousand dollars) to get it installed.
