I think the scale problem is wrong. The right side of the scale is not equal to 48 like the left side is. Allt the numbers on the right side 4 + 4 + 12 +6 + 18 = 44 All the numbers on the left side 12 + 12 + 6 + 6 + 6 + 3 + 3 = 48 44 + 48 = 92 I agree on the diamond being 18 but not the sum being 96. The diamond is 18 and the sum is 92. Therefore the scale is not actually at a balance and the right answer is not among the options. If I am wrong please explain why.
