Hello! For those who need further explanation for Tip#1 (double sens practice), it's a common practice both inside and outside Valorant through aim trainers. Before delving into the benefits of this practice, it's essential to clarify that muscle memory is not what many people believe it is when it comes to aiming. To put it simply, muscle memory is not "real" in aiming, and voltaic's post on this topic is an excellent resource to learn more. The practice of doubling your sens or increasing sensitivity as a training exercise helps to develop the precise micro-adjustments that make up 70-90% of gunfights in Valorant. Doubling your sens forces you to use only your wrist and fingers to aim, which trains those muscles for accuracy. Moreover, this practice helps eliminate overflicking/over-adjusting when returning to your original sensitivity. It provides you with better control of your mouse, making you more proficient in aiming. Therefore, Tip#1 is helpful, and even if it seems otherwise, it will enhance your aiming skills. Personally, it has made me better at aiming, and I have progressed to Immortal 2 in Valorant and recently started as voltaic platinum. I hope this explanation helps!
I started playing Valorant again today and the first thing I wanted to watch on UA-cam was aim training... And here you are... Video uploaded 15 seconds ago 🤣🤣🤣

finally someone who actually gives advice. aim isnt about endlessly practicing but getting confident about yourself, taking care of your body and health will make you better at whatever you do. what hes saying is all true. all best players do this.
The biggest thing that helped me was raising my crosshair ever so slighty. I thought I had good crosshair placement to begin with, but when I did that my headshot percentage shot up from 17 to 30. It made me prioritize headshots and I started winning a lot more duels instead of just hitting for 80 or 120.
To the all guys who think yeah there are multiple videos around discussing about aim train! trust me the double sensi one and the monitor keeping close one really works insanely and i had a good improvement! thank you @Sena for sharing these tips with our Valorant community ! appreciated it
For the tips about other games, it doesn't even have to be fps' or games that require aiming. Playing rhythm games (mainly longer maps) before valorant has helped me a lot when it comes to being able to maintain focus for 5+ minutes at a time. Works perfect considering rounds are that long (2-3 min depending on if post plant)
@@zzGreen any of the osu game modes work (osu!mania, osu!taiko, osu!catch), you can play normal osu even with tablet or mouse and it's good for helping warm up. Games like etterna or muse dash can help too. They get your hands moving which makes your hands less stiff and they also force you to focus. Pretty much all rhythm games are like that since they require a lot of the same muscle movements. I'd like to preface that it's not necessarily better than just using an aim trainer/deathmatch to warm up, since it does similar things in terms of getting you focused and getting blood flowing. I usually play these types of games anyways so it has tended to help when I played them before valorant instead of another time.
Something that helps (with most games I find) is taking a long break to play other games. Fps games are a little different and you really need to make sure that you are playing other fps games to stay active in aiming
Honestly thank you so much for this not only did you teach lots of methods for aim but you also figured out why my brother has headaches he sits to close to his moniter
So double ur sensitivity and death match, wash your hands with hot water, have lots of water by you, sim train/other games, and sit closer to ur monitor but not too close.
My main problem is I grinded apex , pubg pc , and other shooters so much That's it my habit to spray most of the time and do quick movement. But in games like valorant you need to be precise. Ah man i wish i could change this for this game
Thank you! I never used those tips, especially for the monitor. It sits the farrest it can on my desk. Also, I constantly stay dehydrated when playing valorant because i drink water all in one place. But ill probably learn to drink water not all in one place but a little bit for a time.
It is better to multiply by 1.5x instead of double due to over extending from your original sens it is still going to be high but if you feel your sens is still high but you can still hit the center visior of the valorant bots divide by 1.5x and try and adjust by increments
thank you Sena for giving a warning about damaging your eyesight by staying too close to your computer. thats hwat happened to me after years of playing videogames, i developed myopia lol
holy bro.. been watching you for over a year and listening to your tips always helps. also thanks for taking care of us reminding drinking water, it is actually very true what you said! cheers keep up the good work
I have 2.5 k hours in R6 and coming into valorant it gave me another set of tools to use highly highly reccomend playing a second game or aim trainer as a way to keep things frosty👌
I agree with a lot of this, especially being dehydrated. I have noticed being thirsty actually makes you feel tired and less focused despite not having any stimulant properties. Scientifically speaking I don't know why, probably largely in part due to the fact that the body uses water for everything including the fact that we ARE mostly water lol.
Warm hands make sense because blood will be able to flow a bit better, helping muscles actuate with more power and precision. There's a huge AC in the room where I game and anytime the temp is set below 28 degrees, my hands grow stiff and my aim becomes more and more jerky
I haven’t actually tried the methods yet (will do). But over the years I have searched up on how I should improve my aim in fps games and they are all the same blah blah blah… but watching yours felt totally different and actually made total sense, so thank you?
I'm not sure if changing sens work because you said that you feel like your aim got better but that is just a feel i think it's better to play with your normal sens for improving muscle memory and many other things. And I don't think it is necessary to put your hands in warm water (I mean you can) , but you can just wash it with soap and dry it. And also if you are going to put your monitor closer to you please turn on eye protection 😅.
great vid, as always. I found you on youtube almost a year ago, and Ive been watching your videos even when I stopped playing valorant. now that Im coming back, your old vids and new one on how to improve are really helping me! much love Sena
Yeah, same when drinking water not only does it help you feel comfortable but for me at least in my experience helped me played more confidently, what I mean by that is usually when I play valorant, I'm nervous most of the time so I kept having a bottle of water right next to me drink after every game or every round just taking a sip
This is the only channel that actually helps out in Valorant others just show their play I got freaking 600fps because of his videos before I got only 180
Lesss gooo another sena vid!!! Personally I like using aim labs only for practicing my mouse control eg tracking and micro flicks, and hen I just use a mix of ur method and prems in the range…let me know wut u think!
Thank you! ❤It is good to crouch to help control your recoil. So after the first 3 - 5 bullets. It's only bad if you insta-crouch, meaning you crouch before the gunfight begins, or before you begin a spray. Hopefully this helps!
i am probably not as good as you in Valorant, but i have been playing FPS games since quake 1, so over 20 years and i would never advise anyone to change sense or even DPI and polling rate so frequently, it may do more harm to muscle memory than good. What is this idea based on? The perception of control?
Hey sena, i have been following you for quite a long time and have seen your almost every video. I started valo like 2 years ago and for the first six months i was stuck in iron then UA-cam recommended me your channel when i searched how to get better and after such a long time watching your video, applying them in valorant i finally hit plat today. Thank you for helping me so much and I love your guides. (btw I always solo que thats why it took me so long and I had no experience of fps games before.)❤❤
I doubled my sense and actually played really well with it and stuck with that for like a week, then lowered it back down and now I feel a lot better, lol.
Over the last few days I've felt as if I had very sluggish input. Turns out I was just dehydrated and haven't seen the sun in 5 days... Fixing that seemed to solve that
This is a great set of tips aside from the water. Lol. I was thinking of restarting my channel using Valorant as content but I suck at it honestly. Any tips on what videos you started with? Was thinking maybe montages of clips as I start playing competitive mode. Will be my first venture into non mobile content. Would love any feed back from your successes.
tip #4 is true before on controller i played cod and it helped me implement left stick aiming and playing siege helped me be more precise since there was no aim assist
Yes i agree with the last tip - keeping your monitor close. Currently i play on a 14inch screen laptop and it's kept at around 30cm away from my eyes. I really have to look and stare at the monitor and i generally lose alot of long range gun fights because of that.
I have to agree with fourth tip. Im mobile gamer (waiting for valorant mobile) im playing few different games which acquired aim and really it keeps my aim at very good level. Maybe it doesn't work everyday but it does mostly
It's clearly the video and the tips I needed because I felt like my aim was shit these days. I just wanted to ask you a question about the last tip, I'm playing on a laptop with an external keyboard so if I move my laptop closer, my keyboard would be closer too, it would be a bit uncomfortable for me while playing, do you get any tips for that? when you play other fps games, are you using the same sensitivity in both games? My sensitivity in valorant is 0.25 800 dpi, but I think that is a very low to play Overwatch or Apex

I use to play a lot of R6 and then switched to Valorant for the past 1 year or so. I recently went back to R6 for a while but for some reason I cannot seem to get a perfect sens. i struggle a lot with cold hands because i play in the evening and night when it's cold and i have never thought of running my hands under hot water that's actually so smart
Heres the thing i suffer from the first problem you adressed but then when i play deathmatch with either double or halved my sens i play better than i was originally
5:13 Bro, if I should play more games, is it necessitates making my sens in valorant the same for the rest of the games? Like should I use sens converter? Or it’s not necessary?
i totally agree on the drink water part. if youre thirsty, the brain will focus more on you being thirsty and having to drink water than focusing on the game. water gives that boost on awareness, and focus. stay hydrates bois
one HUGE tip he missed which helped me a lot is touching natural grass, caressing the grass and soil really helped me in my grip in life.
