6 months from Silver to Radiant is crazy. I went from Iron 3 to Silver 2 in a year. (900 hours)
my brother just uninstall
@@theduuude7624 but 100 hours after that I got to Gold 3
@@MountainPieEnjoyerngl silver-gold is the hardest part to climb
I was stuck there for like 2 episodes before reaching plat, and after plat, I got my asc buddy after 3 months
ascendant didnt exist when he went from silver to radiant so like it was a bit easier but still very impressive
Iron to Silver 3 in 183 hours over a year of playing. Soooo I don’t even play much you just needa solo queue a bunch and look up some range drills
6 months is crazy, I went from Plat 1 to Gold 3 in 2 years
same 😢
Exactly. I went from Silver to Silver in like 2 episodes
Man I went from Iron to Silver 3 in a year
wanna hear something crazy i went from playing fps first time in life in 2020 to silver 3 in 3 years
@@gamerknight1615 Kinda same, but I only played for 2 years. Way different than console gaming
Tip 1 - Settings 1:43
Tip 2 - Mechanics 4:43
Tip 3 - Map control 10:21
Tip 4 - Ability usage 13:16
Tip 5 - Game sense 16:27
Tip 6 - Growth mindset 18:48
One thing that screwed me for literally 2 years was not realizing that my gaming laptop had a weird overheating issue that was causing my connection to Valorant to almost imperceptible but truly game breaking lag spikes. My ping would always be excellent (~15-30), my FPS would be 200-300 but I would still get that "Connection to server error" intermittently during ALL of my game and just generally feel like that "Peekers advantage" was insanely strong. I thought it was normal and I just sucked until I tested out disabling some of my computers built-in settings that were causing heating issues and then it was like I was starting over from square one with an actually functioning game. Thankfully those 2 years helped immensely when it came to game sense and maps and movement but the fact that I was inherently screwed for 2 whole years and spent so many games fully inted seeing no progress bothers me a lot. So I always tell new players to make sure the game is actually running properly - watch some streamers on twitch and get into the youtube tutorials to see if you could be inadvertently playing a game with a handicap.
yo please explain i think i might have that problem too
Damn bro, I feel bad for you, I think it's really the worst type of thing that can limit your aim because it's not even your fault, it's the computer's fault, but I'm glad for you you found a way to fix this !
Can you tell me the setting that u disabled
For those who are asking - my computer was using "Rog Boost" to make opening up programs more seamless. But it basically is buggy and overheats the CPU and GPU while gaming and causes, usually, small microlag spikes. Sometimes they were major and I would actually "teleport" because I would lose connection for maybe a second. This feature wasn't able to be turned off because it was hidden so I had to find a guide that showed how to do it through the registry editor. My laptop was going 80C + every game and after turning that off it went down to ~60C and those little lag spikes completely disappeared. Even if you don't have rog boost, check to see if your computer is firing some kind of "overclocking" feature that is used for gaming/programs. It could be doing the same thing. Specifically look up your computer make and model with "overheating while gaming"@@yaywoohoo
Left it under another comment!@@echabbiyassine7418
18:49 damn that mindset slapped me so hard, I'll definitely change that
"Grip your mouse" Me on controller 🤡
as an iron 3, i can guarantee this was helpful
ty
You hadn’t even watched the full video yet…
Stop lying u didn’t even watch the whole video
How do u know?
@@ClassCrafters917 they probably commented as soon as it was released, not after a minimum of 10 minutes which means they didnt watch the whole thing.
"I can trade them since they decided to be a human sova drone" was my favorite part, it made me a laugh and it's such a positive way of looking at it.
I agree, even if we're going to lose doing our best will make us lose as less RR as possible.
Never taken Val seriously before, but decided to start playing ranked and grinding after and before work and focus on improving. Started bronze 2, just hit gold last night. After about… 6 weeks
After watching Konpeki for about 2 weeks and take actions I went from silver 2 to Platnum 3
bro, im bronze 2 do you reccommend me any videos to watch?
The video starts at 1:45
Ty
I’ve been playing atleast 2 hours a day for 3 years is bronze 2 good😭😭
oh my god
same
i think it would help me a lot if i got good fps because everytime i see an enemy my fps drops from 30 to like 10 so i cant actually hit shots😅
Yeah your getting there, should be radiant in the next few days ezpz
Yea bro bronze 2s are better than immortals bro u got this the internet been lyin to u
@@arnavcoder686you will never be able to climb on those specs btw I would upgrade or quit Val😭
@@arnavcoder686upgrade your pc, its holding you back. Even a Ryzen 5 3600+16GB RAM+RX 580/GTX 1060 would be a massive improvement
Bro I just got out of silver like 2 days ago and now I see this video...
Damn, I needed this.
DAMN!?!? KENDRICK LAMAR REFERENCE???
lmao the human sova drone, bro is making us save money like that
THANK YOU SO MUCH! This video is helping so much rn, I really love your content :D
as a d1 reyna main this helped me
Very helpful! Now i can rank up to plastic 2!
I reall struggle in valorant.being silver currently with gold 3 peak.yet i played high rank in paladisn/overwatch in grandmaster. Gotta learn from this video
Maybe it is because Valorant is a tactical shooter and not only a Hero Shooter like Overwatch or Paladins on which you will be moving and shooting most of the time, also you will need a lot of bullet hits to get a kill, in Valorant with just one headshot you're done, also, moving and shooting is not worth (It works sometimes, but it shouldn't) XD
@@XFEINX spectre says it working Xd
You forgot about utility that heals and other types like reyna's dismiss, different ults and even sage's wall, but besides that, great video
Damn bro! This is very detailed!!! I’ve been playing Valo for 2 weeks and got Bronze 2 as my first rank. I’m so noob at this (also being a newbie to the game)
I never played shooting games other than Special Force way back 2009! I always feel like dizzy with the 1st person shooting games but playing Valo hits different!
Thank you so much! This is what I’m looking for! I have learned a lot from this one video! And would probably learn more on your other vids.
When I started, I never watched any tutorials but I very much like to play around with bots in any game just to be familiar with the game and the movements. Literally spending hours just killing bots HAHAHA
Thanks again bro! Will update here abt my status for a month after watching your vids!
I'd never excpect to see my childhood love combat arms in this kind of video
I was playing on 1.3 sensitivity with a 1600 DPI mouse before watching this video which is why I could never hit headshots.
How the fuck did you even manage to get a kill
That's crazy high
ur mouse might have travelled the world by now...
Same, I used to have no mouse space but once a got a bigger mouse pad the muscle memory stayed the same
I have been iron 3 since the game came out. I trained everything and i cant gdt better so i kust keep playing until i subconsciously learn something
Thanks for the vid and the substitles easy to understand for stranger !
I'm playing valorant for almost 2 years and I played a hundred of ranks and my rank went from silver 1 to silver 2 in 9 months
🎉🎉
Something you forgot to mention is actually LEARN the call outs PLUS actually give coms at all. Its literally dead silent in those low elo games. But then they complain why they cant escape "Elo Hell".
Thanks, Konpeki. I'm currently bronze 2 and I don't really play that well. My aim kind of sucks and I have 0 game sense. With your guides, I hope to improve in the game since this is my first fps and I don't have good aim and stuff!
If u keep playing the aim will come naturally to u
You got this, Nakul! Its my first (besides Overwatch but im new to it too) as well
Me 1600 dpi , in game 0.297/0.397 🙌 bronze 1 to silver 2 one in one season
Haven't finished the video, only two minutes in, but the sens thing... I liked going fast in games, (Valorant is my first FPS) and it was one of my first games, so I played for like 4 months on 2000 DPI and 3 sens (Not .3, Just three) Always fun going spin with the small movement of a mouse. Now its .4 with 3000 DPI.
That is still a terrible EDPI, you're supposed to be somewhere between 200-400 EDPI usually. That is 1,200 EDPI that you have right now.
@@MountainPieEnjoyersome of us are poor enough to only have A6-sized mousepad bro 😢
I can't even swing my wrist, let alone my entire arm, thus higher sens is the only way (1024 EDPI here)
what rank are you lmao
@@hundrick186 me? Immortal 1 rn
An immo with 1024 edpi 🙃
this was hella helpful, i come from a competetive tf2 background where high sens is a must so itll be a big adjustment lol
my favorite flex was going from iron 3 to gold 1 in one season and its all on one triangle
"Normal deathmatch is on regular maps and improves your passive aim" actually is genius. Idk why i never play it. I need to start that. Thanks
Those basketball whatever you call it helped me understand because I have been playing basketball for a while
I took a break from FPS games and haven't played since Nov 2023, so 6 months later I'm back. My error is I expect to start where I left off. Not the case. Time to get back to basics, starting with this video and practice.
Konpeki: "Click your side mouse buttons"
Me, who is using a Logitech M210: "What are those???"
me: trying to enroll in konpeki's program
my wifi: cant load the 7 min vid without buffering ..
im cooked bruh, no one can help me rankup when my wifi randomly decides to just vanish for a few minutes.
"Have a sens of .2 to .4 with 800 dpi" me casually having 1600 dpi and sens of .836
what if i dont change my grip when i press sidebuttons? i tested it in game and recorded my hand, and realized my grip is pretty much the same, the only thing that changes is the right mouse button grip
45 hours play time in ranked silver 2 is good?
Human sova drone is crazy
Now i wish i could show this to all of my bronze comp teammates
Probably the most well put together video for low elo Val and climbing in competitive fps in general I have ever seen. Wicked job
When your Team so Trolling its ggs Jett Took Spike every round told enemys Not to shoot her and gave them free defuse
Sooooo I took 4 years to go from Silver to Diamond💀
Bro drop your skincare routine 😂
i have one question why do pros take out there knife for small distance and not get punished
Knowing which angles are safe to knife out in, and which areas might have enemies waiting. Game sense my guy
This is a great video! Hopefully I can get one of those 11 spots !
i am sorry to be the sens nerd and tell you guys this but in valorant sens multiplier 1 is actually 3.2 times your dpi so if you have dpi of 800 and in game sens of 1 your edpi is 2560. if you want just 1 to 1 (DPI)/(EDPI) your in game sens in valorant needs to be 0.314 and then 800 dpi will also be your edpi
I just listened to the first tip and managed to carry the game when my opponent had silver 2 in team and I am bronze 1
I’m iron 2 to gold 1 6 months. I keep getting Smurfs on enemy team and hackers. Those hackers most of the time get reported 2 games after mine.
That last tip is crucial 🤣
Only thing I disagree with is the mouse button configuration. It’s preference of course. But also- anything bound to them vs the time to activate or deploy an ability is so small most normal players won’t even see a benefit moving them to a key.
Another plus is you have some util bound to say a side button, you can move in any direction and deploy it. Try moving left and throwing a Phoenix Q at the same time. But Omega- you don’t need to do that as you are usually standing still or pressing W!
Then I won’t matter what button it’s on as long as it’s within reach then huh. :)
Another thing is you need to find your quirks and comfortable ways to play the game as in dont copy a pros setting and expect to be great. Many pros and high level players have quirks like weird mouse grip, super high/low sens. Find something that makes you comfortable.
Oh to have time in your week to play more than 3 comp games... Especially if you want to play with friends who are just barely outside the range of ranks you can queue comp with so you have to either 5-stack, solo-queue or they have to go on an alt (which by now are all also outside the range oof, not tryna boost just trying to play with friends)
Went from bronze to plat 1 and now back at silver 3 in two years 💀🙏
Dont say combat arms man... It hits so different from all of these games, all those memories from that game hits harder to my chest than an indian train..
I don't change my valo sense I change my mouse sens
Valorant was the first game I played since my switch to pc and I hit diamond in like a month or 2 then my friends hopped on the Val grind, took my agents and so on😅 now I’m stuck barely knowing how to duelist anymore
I never palyed basketball and don't know how it's played.
bro im lvl 250+ and am struggling between bronze and silver... been playing for like 3 years
I learned more about basketball in this video
what if i can only play during weekends?
the growth mindset one is can be used in real life, i want to see a valorant video and i leave think about mt life, ty
7:57 "We can't only train in the range only shooting at bots; We also have to train our aim and movements against real bots... I mean real people lol".
From iron 2 to gold 1 in 2 week bc you thx so much
I’m bronze 3, 1 game off silver after a week of playing but I keep getting teammates who can’t shoot straight. I drop 20+ a game and can’t win idk what to do.
basketball analogies are amazing
i really have to work on not tilting when teammates are idiots and not buying just bc ur nor topfragging.. and my flicking, gun/trigger controll has to get better
Human Sova drone lmfao
What I learned is that your a big basketball fan
All these tips but my teamates still afk 3 rounds in to avoid remake and when I duo we go against people above our rank and have teamates below our ranked
naah cant get rid of the scrollwheel weapon swap, always played like that, it would be too much for my left hand to control if i would use 123 for wepons
im using 0.35 with 1600dpi and i feel like any lower sense after 1+ hour causes my wrist to hurt so it might just be personal prefrence on your hands ect.
The 800dpi setting only works if your resolution is 1080p. On my ultrawide it is wayyy too low. I have to run at least 1200 at 0.8
Holy fk I started the game last December and hit plat recently and thought I was good 😂
is it okay if i drop 30 bombs with 1.2 sens and 1200 dpi
funny i switched to the TenZ crosshair last week and ong has got me feeling more confident, it makes no sense XD
The overflick and underflick thing is total nonsense. That's not a sens issue it's an aim issue. You don't change your sens when you miss a shot... that makes no sense.
Feels like an april fools.
He didn't say to change it if you miss a shot, he said to change the sens if you detect a pattern of underflick or overflick.
What do I do if I drop 40 kills and still lose from my horrible teammates?
I can't get used to use my whole arm instead of just wrist with mouse
my mindset improved a lot when i started thinking of gun fights as slot machines, sometimes you get lucky other times you don't oh well on to the next one
I play 4 - 5 hiurs a day for 3 years now still i am only peak b2
I went from silver1 to diamond2 in 1week and I hit 3double rank ups
I play atleast 3-4 compe games per day in 1 1/2 weeks
I think for me I need to work on valorant specific mechanics. I have great raw aim from other shooter games, but those games played very differently from valorant. I think my crosshair placement is pretty good, it just seems like I get one tapped the second I peek, but when an enemy peeks even if they are full strafing, they immediately headshot me. I guess that means its probably a movement or positioning error for me.
"99% of players only need 0.2 or 0.4 sens"
me playing in 1.4 with 800 dpi💀
Nonono. Thwifo crosshair good. 1-2-3-0 so much better and unique😊
Bro 500rr your underestimating how dog shit I am at the game 😅
i mean i was fine with 1200 edpi for a bit, have since lowered it to ~1000 but it still seems pretty high lol (hardstuck silver/gold who gets a decent number of kills/game)
I dont have enough money but i want your traning by the way love from nepal ❤❤. I wish i had a trainer like you :(
I went from iron 2 to silver 2 in 4 months 🗿
Why does everyone use kovacks what so much better than aimlabs
using 1 2 3 and 4 makes it harder for me to switch weapons because it stops me from moving completely freely and and
bro Im 800dpi 1.5 ingame sense 😭
I’ve always used 1600 dpi for all my fps games. Mainly overwatch. Am I not suppose to use that?
3:33
me: wait, how are you using two different colors for contrast against the same yellow? are they different colors?? AM I COLORBLIND 😭
I feel a lot more comfortable and quicker when my swap gun keybind is scrolling, should I still main to the number keys?
Yes, you generally always want to have your index finger on M1
This video should be 10 seconds long and it should be what ISP you should get and modem and or router to get so you see everyone else a whole second before they see so you mitigate this game's garabge servers and net infrastructure. Operation locker on the lowest tick server filled to the max with 140 ping feels more consistent and fair than this game at 30 ping.
I find most advices about team synergy useless. I'm dia2 initiator main and either no one follows my utility or they dive into site before I deploy it.
