So all communications and information transit through SnapLogic?

Nice review. My company is big on it and I wanted to know what it is about. I see why it's important to them but less so to me. As a developer, I've always known not to let that kind of situation arise. The funny thing is that when C++ was first used, some people said "hey, you could make two objects that were subclassed and they would translate seamlessly between data structures" as it seems SnapLogic is meant to do. I watched a few people try to make "agents" as they were called. They were good developers and good designers but generally did not succeed well. The funny thing is that because of that knowledge I never had an interest in writing agents yet recently I've written a few of them actually ... merging legacy systems with greenfield solutions. Hmmmm... It's problematic in any case.

Good explanation.. but it seems that SnapLogic will add value only when an organization has several legacy systems. What about a good IT company, that has all of its DBs exposed through services? Will SnapLogic be of any use there?
