    I love your enthusiasm, you make it fun for me even though I can't get out there anymore. Thank you for your MOST entertaining video, I can almost smell the fish.
    Anyone that gave this video a thumbs down has something wrong with them, you took great care in releasing your fish quickly and unscathed. Most impressed. I was an angler for over 50 years.

    We usually move in 15 minutes if we have no sign of life....and we hang out for about 30 mins if we are getting some hints of life on the flasher or some bites....have to gauge it to the day a bit too....if fishing seems to be good we will move faster and more often to find better fishing, if things have been slow we will tough out slower fishing a bit longer....hope that helps!

    what is the exact name of that live lure? I caught a 9 and a half pounder on Nipp Last Summer, in 40 feet of water on a worm and glow jig. I'll be finishing the Timmins Area this winter. Walleye and Sturgeon.

    @Saskyloon Haha, keep it PG13 Saskyloon. Eyes are blasted in every segment from an average of 0 hours of sleep the night before filming...tonnes to prepare...anyone who thinks making a fishing show is a cakewalk has never been involved in the process. Jay and I are still figuring alot of this game out...the best is yet to come. :)

    Typically, 10 pound fluorocarbon...the whole fluorocarbon craze could be a farce, but it works for me. For Lake Winnipeg, alot of guys tie direct with braid. I use a mono/fluoro leader for walleyes, regardless of water clarity.

      +Cole Asinas - I use Power Pro Ice Tec braid for almost everything, 10# test for big walleyes like this. 12-14# fluorocarbon leader, I like Sunline but it doesn't need to be high end fluorocarbon for an application like this.

    • @uncutangling
      @uncutangling  9 років тому

      JT Outdoors - Any color can work depending on the day and the conditions, but white is usually a great starting point! 24" is kind of short. A longer rod is much more enjoyable and effective to fish with.

    It's not cool all of the time, it was 17 degrees Celsius today ( somewhere in the sixties for you guys) and it's October. However come winter time it can really get cool for sure but if you like to ice fish that's good. By the way our summers are good too. 20 to 30 degrees Celsius (68-85 F). And yes the people are nice for the most part, especially up north.
