Great video and you have a good pace out there. I was just wondering if you used the donwshift blipper or the clutch for downshifts? Since I first rode my 1299s I never used the clutch again when riding. Is there any issue with the blipper on the track?

Yes, Don't feel anything special but also nothing wrong so thats good. The 1299s is a bit more friendly/easy to ride. It doesn't fight as much as the 1199 and the 1299s is even faster.
I mounted the gopro on the steering because otherwise its in the way when you lay down. (nothing to do with vibration) to reduce the vibrations i modified the mount which the gopro comes on when you buy it ( the black plate) put some rubber foam on the bottom and strapped it tightly to the handlebars. Now if you want to mount it on the tank (better view) try to make sure the plastic covers on the tank don't vibrate. I used the sticker mount on the tank.(not an issue on the panigale as it has metal tank). Now something I always do to reduce vibrations is to check if there is any "play" (movement) on the mount itself or maybe even the camera in the gopro case. If you find any play, just fill it up with whatever you have laying around so that your gopro mount is steady.
How do you condition your hands to handle riding a bike like this? I rented a local 1199 and pulled over side streets to rest my hands every other freeway exit. Nice vid.
Thanks. :p Usually, I have a loose grip when not using the clutch. When I do reach for the clutch after a while/few miles, there are cramps in my palm area, mostly the left hand. I wonder if it's just weak ligaments/muscles used for clutch shifting.
Maybe its because on the streets you have to ride relatively slow, so you are always leaning on the handlebars and therefore always putting pressure on the palm of your hands.
Nice bit of riding there. I don't know if it was due to camera placement, but the 1299 sounds angrier, more raw, than your 1199 did. What a beautiful track to ride on. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks and it does sound different than the 1199 but I think the sound is also changed because the camera was vibrating a bit in its plastic case. Glad you enjoyed the video :)
Love the way you ride and share the track with your fellow track riders. Not to aggressive but still very fast and competitive. Good example of how a trackday should be.
No that not possible on a bike, The some of the fastest guys don't really brake before eau rouge because you slow down a lot because of the steep incline. But full throttle is not possible :) and Thanks :)

Hold your steering as loose as you can. Don't have a deathgrip on the bars :p. But for most people if you are not used to it you can cramp up easily

im considering buying a ducati panigale 1199 s, is this a good road bike? What dont u like about these bikes?
mmm, dont know if its a good road bike. They do get very hot under the seat because of the exhaust on the road.
