    Ive got a silver vectra to clean thats like this. Hasnt been washed for years, and was side swiped by a lorry so has some wacking great scratches on the rear quarter panel that have moss of their own. Going full round of bilt hamber, might buy some tardis, final rinse with carpro descale, and then finish with touch on. Hope it looks as good.

    Did a nice job 👍,always surprised how much the fallout brings the colour back on the paint ,makes a big difference I find

      Especially on light cars, you're absolutely right! I did my car the other week and was surprised at how much whiter the white actually looked!

    The weather really wasn't playing ball with you that day. I've got some wash plus which I've yet to try,which will probably be on the work van. Just done a decon on my new to me white car and I used HDD's trade range fallout remover which is pretty decent stuff and the car was absolutely covered,two applications and it was still showing signs so before I polish it in a couple of weeks I'm going to try some Korrosol and see if there's any left.

      I shall give the HDD range a go I think, especially as they have the trade range and the consumer one (I never understood why consumer products for HDD and KKD are seemingly more concentrated though, when it comes to fallout remover anyway).

    Looks a lot nicer than it did to begin with. Good to see Wash+ making an appearance.
    One thing I tried was the DIY Detail Decon Towel with Korrosol. So one spritz on the panel, another on the clay towel and rub away. Safe, quick, barely any expensive Korrosol used (so I didn't stink of it). Really impressed by the combo.
    Thanks for the video. as ever, you've made me start thinking again.

      Thanks for the comments, as ever!
      I just watched Detailing Dogma's video with Yvan and I have to say that the clay towel is now in my basket, ready for my next order!

      I have to say, having one that's that bad is somewhat enjoyable because you know there's no need to hold back on what products you're going to use. And I didn't have to worry about anything drying out 🙃

    Great vid as always, interested in the tar video. Love Tardis so will be interested in how others compare.

      Yeah it'll be interesting to see from the different tar remover's - I've got some Gtechniq, Gyeon and Fireball stuff as well, so I'll throw them all on I think, get a real comparison going.

    Great job Son I think you need a Gazebo to protect your hair like mine 👍🏻😭

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  4 місяці тому +1

      Thanks dad! I was really borderline on putting the gazebo up actually, but then it would have been put away wet for days on end - if I'd been doing a deep interior clean then I would have had to regardless.
      I heard you say you have found yours easier to put up (I'm avoiding the obvious innuendo 😂)? Mine is an absolute pig to do on your own, I went far too heavy duty.

      I'd never have thought of trying that - you don't hear much about Poor Boyz in the UK anymore. They still exist of course, but people generally only talk about Blackhole.

    I always found it incredibly disheartening, cleaning wheels and putting in so much working to get them looking good when the driver had curbed them. Still as long as they paid.

    • @SuperchargedLlama
      @SuperchargedLlama  4 місяці тому

      Ahhhh I managed to draw the line on that - when it's my car, I care a lot about that...when it's a customers, I'm just there to clean it. What I was worried about here at first was that I was actually taking the paint off the barrel, but I quickly realised they weren't actually black, just incredibly dirty.
