I thought we had a early spring with just under 10c here in Stavanger, Norway for a week but been snowing all day. Looks like freezing night temperature and just over day temps for a while 🌨️

Snow and ice has been melting in large parts of East Europe. Some parts of the Bothnian Bay and Lake Ladoga are free of ice. I talked with some local experts and they said that it is unusual for the whole Lake Ladoga to have ice cover. I wonder how the monks wintered in Valaam monastery. Now they have like a heliport.
Today was a very beautiful sunny day here in Riga. It was so sunny that it made me think about how long it was since I saw the sun last time. It felt like spring! Birds were chirping and I tried to find my sunglasses and spf. The last two (?) weeks were very spring like too, but not that sunny as it was today. It snowed a lot yesterday but most of the snow had melted, so it truly felt like an early spring day (it was ~ 0C). Your prediction about high pressure over Baltics made me smile hahah :)
I’m glad to hear that! Hopefully the high pressure is strong enough to block snow/ice later on, but snow is coming tonight. Expect it to begin around midnight and continue into early tomorrow.
First rainfall in Lisbon started 2 hours ago, no cold yet, 15ºC now (9:14 PM or 21h14) 😄

In Iowa it’s
pleasant it’s usually 20 degrees in February but it’s like 50 degrees!!!!! El Niño has been good for us I’m thinking that it’s going to be a historic winter
For where I live, which I've mentioned before, it's looking like a really difficult situation with the snowfall as im right to the north of the rain/snow boundary. I think it will drop further south and give heavy snow widely. But atp its a nowcast situation!
Maybe will be now that I will gonna see snow,the map that show snow one of the area in Portugal is close to me. Fingers cross.

Looking at the Danish weather forecast - it doesn’t support at all snow. Predicting about 4-5C
Sounds right. Snow is expected from northern and central Germany and eastward. Benelux will miss the snow for the most part.

I am in the South East of United Kingdom London, this winter for me has been horrible .. why you say it has apart from a 2 week period of winter cold weather been very very errillery MILD. North of Birmingham up to the north of Scotland the weather has been a typical real winter SNOW cold wind...been down south very suspect climate....I worry
Cool. The temp last two days in the south scandi, has been way off compared to forecast. milder, but also really insane local differences, and random waves through the day that doesn't make sense. Snowing like crazy though.

Sometimes in Britain we get lovely mild spells followed by nasty cold weather that can persist until May. In England, summer can last from March until Halloween, that is best case scenario
It’s looking like we will have a relatively dry drive from Calais to Spain starting on Sunday morning 🤔

Greetings! Hard to say at this point, since models have been disagreeing a lot lately. But I think colder air is becoming more likely later this month, and if we can get some precipitation to move through at the right time, then snow chances may result!

Anddd, there it is, it happened, the cold snap next week is canceled by many of the models, but there's still a small chance, especially because an SSW could happen, but I think mild weather will dominate next week.
That’s true. A couple days ago, the GFS was going ALL-OUT with widespread cold and even a Beast from the East. But this is exactly why I avoided mentioning it too much, because now it’s completely disappeared in the guidance.
Nice weather update again. But I want to ask for your opinion on the chance of cold temperatures across western europe (mainly benelux and france) after the storms. Do you think the scandanavian cold will make it or be blown away by some storm?
Thank you! And yes I expected some to wonder. I was planning on adding a segment in this video about the possible cold, but frankly the weather models have been in major disagreement regarding snow/cold. It’s actually been a mess. This mass of storms coming from the Atlantic has been really tough for the models to grasp, and since it will have an impact on the eventual return of cold, it’s been making big shifts. So if I’m being honest, I don’t know just yet. My best guess is cold returning around the middle of February, with chances increasing later. Check back for updates!
@@WeatherWatcher14 Ye i was guessing that. I watched some videos from some german youtubers who show some graphs of the different runs of the GFS and ECMWF and the range in 1 week from now was over 20 degrees. Thanks for your response anyway. I will be waiting for your next update!

Whilst these weather presentations are excellent, we must not forget that geoengineering is playing a major part in what is going on above our heads. Watch the skies.
This weather we're experiencing repetitive weather always the same feels like a weapon. Are the people behind the curtain controlling the weather with chemtrails? Weather modification. I have never in my 50 years seen the weather to be so repetitive across the UK. It feels like a movie or music track on repeat.
