Women Who Gave Birth in Unusual Places

- These people all gave birth in unusual places. In 2015, a mom gave birth in the front seat of her car when her husband couldn't make it to the hospital on time. In 2022, a police lieutenant in Atlanta arrived at a very active scene when a woman gave birth at a gas station in her car. In 2018, there was no time to get checked into the maternity ward, and one baby was born in the hospital hallway. Inside Edition Digital’s Andrea Swindall has more.
Those babies have better birth stories than most of us tbh😅
😂
I died and my mom pooped on me. Is that exciting? 😂
ikr
@@missfortune8553 what.
Lol ❤
"6? Y'all need a better hobby!" This had me cackling 😂
Fr, I laughing so hard my mom came into the room😭
😂
I love that. Very true…
🤣🤣🤣
Yep! I've said that to my friends who recently quit having more children after their 10th was born with Down syndrome
My middle older brother was born in a police car in 1974. My mom couldn’t reach my dad at work, so she called for an ambulance. There was some mix-up and they sent a police car instead. There was a pretty tiny article about it in the newspaper.
That’s hilarious 🤣
Lol
So I'm just curious did your brother and up being somebody who gets in trouble with the law or did he become a police officer himself
@@ananolastname1605why would they get in trouble?
@@Rockstardailyhe/she is referencing it to the police as he was born in police car .
That first one had me in tears, the way she screamed. They seem to be a very sweet couple!!
Yah exactly
The ring of fire is what they call it. I don't know I got lucky and I was able to have two epidurals and then a spinal tap for my c-section I had but I heard that it's pretty severe pain but that it's all worth it and you forget about it in the end. But yeah I know it's probably got to hurt really bad.
@@ananolastname1605 *so glad I sense enough not to go through any of that pain*
I’m so glad I’m not the only one who screamed like her. I was shocked too not because it happened in a car but that I was able to get my baby out even when I was in so much pain.
Well the baby came very quick and a very quick very short birth
The cop saying “Ooh y’all need a better hobby!” was the best part of this video😂
I personally think that the best part was the fact that all of the babies were born healthy and safe and that new life was brought into this world but as far as the funniest part then yeah I would have to agree with you as that being the funniest part
@@ananolastname1605 I knew someone was going to comment something like that, like you just have to assume that my comment meant that all those beautiful babies being born doesn’t mean anything 😂 it’s a joke, everybody knows that the babies being born healthy is an amazing thing especially when those mothers have to go through something so life changing… so for you to have to comment that is so funny 😂
I thought the same thing. I giggled at that.
Why did he say that? Having a baby or kids is not a hobby
And the good thing is that it made her laugh, wich is very important in stresfull situations ❤
I give kudos to the driving dad for staying so calm. What a spiritual experience for those who never saw a newborn come into the world before.

10 pound baby!?!? Natural wow 😲😳😲
My mother had me natural because I was coming when she got to the hospital and they said no epidural. My mother had it with my brother but not me. I was 7 pounds
Ikr. Tough momma.
@@miac2382 I was 6 pounds
That girl is a champ!
When they said he was 10 pounds😅
My older brother was born in 1988 in the ambulance on the way to the hospital and the story made it in newspapers all over Quebec Canada lol. A year later he won the contest for “cutest baby of the year” in Quebec. and again was in the newspapers front page. After graduation he became a chess pro, then went to a music school in NYC and became a jazz drummer. Few years later he quit and switched to pilot. Another few years later he Then worked in landscaping, then in construction building a giant company office that took a full 2 years. At 31 he went to Brazil for 2 years and married there, and now he has his own cleaning business in Calgary,Alberta. What a life. He isn’t rich or famous, living with his wife in a small apartment, but he has had a lot of adventures in the past 35 years. And there still another good 45 years ahead of him who knows what he will do. That’s a role model right there lol. The kind of life I want.

Those babies must all have amazing callings for their lives!!! They couldn’t wait to come into this world!
Lol
I love how the dad in the first video is so calm while she is screaming ! 😂😂😂😂
Because he’s not the one pushing a 10lb baby out of his body….
@@mitchelleroberson Even if so, as a father and husband, most would freak out. My brothers all freaked out when my sister in laws all went into labor.
A calm husband definitely helps! I would have panicked if my husband had when I had our second in our car. He was calm and was I able to keep calm because of him!
She didn't push or scream that long. The baby came very quick so it was short birth and short pain
I almost had my youngest son at home...my labor from start to finish was 30 minutes...we lived 25 minutes from the hospital, and my husband drove 80 to 90 miles per hour to get to the hospital.
It always scares me to hear stories like this though because I mean honestly how bad would it be if y'all ended up in an accident because of how fast he was driving trying to rush to get there like your best bet at that point is just called freaking ambulance who hopefully is going to make it there in time to get you in at least then you have medical assistance to deliver the baby versus trying to rush and ending up in a accident that ends up killing all of y'all or somebody else
Where do you live that the closest hospital is over 10 minutes away? Geesh. Thankfully there is 4 different hospitals near where i live. The furthest one is the LA Childrens Hospital
@@selectiveapathy
Back then 34 years ago we lived on the outskirts of Cedar Rapids, Iowa.
I woke up in the middle of the night in labor pains 2 minutes apart. It also took me about 5 minutes to put on my pants in between Labor. My son was born sunny side up and the doctor told my husband that if my son would have been born facing down (like normal Babies), my husband would had to have delivered my son at home. It was then that my husband almost fainted 😁
@@ananolastname1605
Yes, i understand that, but you don't think about these things when it matters...i could have saved myself 5 minutes dressing if I would have just put on my maternity dress that I had for just that purpose...again i didn't think, i was keeping tabs on my labor pains...plus it was 1:55 am, so the interstate was empty at that time. My son was born at 2:30 am. And my husband got to be right there and watch his son being delivered into the world 😁
When you first wake up, your brain don't want to think much until you wake up. I woke up with labor pains 2 minutes apart...there was no time for any coherent thought pattern 😁

The way these amazing people jumped in to help those mothers deliver their babies made me want to CRY.
You're playin a serious melody with my heartstrings Inside Edition, thank you for these fantastic stories.
I was born in the bathroom of my mom and dad's apartment they rented. I was premature by 4 months and almost died twice. I couldn't eat or breath on my own. I'm glad paramedics got there when they did. I was in the hospital for a long time before I was allowed to go home cause I had to stay in a incubator with tubes down my throat.

I have huge babies too and I feel her pain. My singletons were 9.6 and 11.2 lbs and my twins were 7.8 and 8.3 lbs (which is huge for twins at 38 weeks!)

My cousin was birthed in my uncle's garage. They were fixing an RC car and my aunt's water broke. They were 2 hours away from the hospital so they just gave birth in the garage. It was definitely something to remember.
That last one was so sweet. You could tell she was a bit shell shocked at everything that had just taken place in her little life.

Wow! I'm so happy everything worked out great. Babies and their moms safe... God's so good.
Wow it’s amazing that we just know what to do and when to do it. I pray god blesses these families with health and happiness.
I delivered my sweet boy in 2021. It was during a very heavy snowstorm in the south. We drove about 5 miles per hour to get to the hospital that was just down the road from us. I pushed for 2.5 hours. I told myself never again lol. He sure is a blessing but that birth traumatized me. I also had a nurse from hell so it was horrible. She was yelling at me to push like I was a football player. It was my first child! I will never forget it.
Home birth or birth centre birth or even hospital birth with a midwife is good
They do not dictate the birth process or make it 'Manipulatively' happen like some business, force your body or make it like some 'Managed event', they assist birth by giving supportive carre
My mother had me and my twin sister back in '93 with no epidural, thing is she didn't know she was having twins. My sister had apparently been behind her rib cage so they didn't detect her heartbeat until after I came out. She was 2 pounds and I was 4, heard that story all the time growing up, haha
Reminds me of some of the births that happened at the hospital maternity unit, where I worked as a nurse. Decades ago (before epidurals started being used for our laboring ladies), a couple had two daughters and hoped for a boy on this third try. After their newborn daughter was delivered, the OB doctor called out ‘There’s another one’ and out popped their newborn son. They hadn’t known that they were getting twins.
Who can actually say they delivered their own child? Amazing calm father..good job Mom & Dad!!! That last baby had so much skin around her knees.
me 😂
Me too.. and I was on a delivery ward in hospital. I told them I warned them but nope the staff didn't believe me.
Those kids really wanted to come into the world. My mom was in labor for 3 days and the doctors forced her to have a c section cuz I refused to come out. I knew even before I was born that I didn't want to be here lol.

Yeah, like seahorses maybe. Or put them into a small coma until the baby is done baking and born. 🌸
I won't lie and tell you it's easy, although some moms handle pain better than others. The thing about childbirth is it's the only thing where you're in extreme pain but it's worth it because at the end you get to see and hold your baby. And that is the best feeling ever.
