Oh, I remember that "religious" war back in school. You either belonged to the Geha faction or to the Pelikan faction and of course there were the few outcasts with a Montblanc Carrera (Montblanc wasn't a luxury company then) or a Kreuzer pen. It's interesting that Pelikan acquired Geha and Kreuzer later, finally terminating that rivalry. I still have my Pelikano from those days and it's working fine. But my favorite Pelikan today is a vintage Pelikan 400 with an OM nib.
Right. I had a Pelikan (red) and envied the „cool kids“ with a Geha (the „jeans“ edition in those times). In these times, Pelikan was considered the more „sophisticated“ and more expensive choice. Later, when I went to high school and had to take the school bus, it was the „cool kids“ on the back-bange“ that had a Geha pen - of course.
2:47 The artwork says: „Writing is easy. You just have to leave out the wrong words“ other terms (both were already explained in the video, but still): Tintenturm = inktower Tintengrabe = inkditch
Seems like I need to wait a bit longer until I can get my hands on a Pelikan M1005 Stresemann (F). On many websites it is delayed again to September :/ But I‘ll wait for it :)

Thanks for taking us along on this journey, very fascinating and looking forward to the next installments👍👍👍👍
How interesting! Never even thought you could stay in such a place. Thanks for this tour!
I'm jealous! I've been a Pelikan fan for a fair number of years now and only this past year or two acquired a vintage Geha
Very cool video! Thanks for creating this.

I started with Pelikan and then got a Geha, which I still have. No cartridges for Geha any more, worse luck!
Were you guys supposed to come out with a video of the actual factory visit?
Yes, we will be posting those videos in the coming weeks. Lots and lots of editing to do.
Super awesome! Can’t wait! :)
