This is the love that Jesus Christ has for mankind. That's why he died at the cross, so save us from the heavy load of sin, that weighs us down daily. All we need to do is trust in the one who rose from dead on the third day.... John 3:16 👋😃

This song was inspired by the circumstance in Japan after world war 2. I cried when I heard that scenario. A boy carrying the dead body of a baby. The soldier scolded the boy and told to dispatch the dead body because the boy felt tiredness carrying the dead body of a baby boy. Then the boy told the soldier he's my brother and that is not heavy. I really cried whem I read the incident
“He ain’t heavy, Father… he’s m’ brother.” Those iconic words have symbolized the spirit of Boys Town for decades. But many people don’t know how it originated. Back in 1918, a boy named Howard Loomis was abandoned by his mother at Father Flanagan’s Home for Boys, which had opened just a year earlier. Howard had polio and wore heavy leg braces. Walking was difficult for him, especially when he had to go up or down steps. Soon, several of the Home’s older boys were carrying Howard up and down the stairs. One day, Father Flanagan asked Reuben Granger, one of those older boys, if carrying Howard was hard. Reuben replied, “He ain’t heavy, Father… he’s m’ brother.”

This is a very hard song to sing. I give up
Because of the emotions or because of the notes?
