2024 and I still get goosebumps... I lived in Dublin for 21 years until 2019
Yo, I'm in Dublin right now for the next 1 or 2 months, anyone want to make some prank videos with me?
Brilliant video, you should be really proud of yourself's. It shows Dublin and Ireland in a much better light than anything the Irish board of tourism could ever think of. I loved the underline tone of community and family throughout. Also the film photography was impeccable. Great work would love to see some more video's.
I never ever tire of this.
I'm the same just love this video it's amazing. Proud to be a dub
1.12 - how did you DO that? Was it a really long shot speeded up? FANTASTIC looking so good!!!
YOUUU..........I WATCH YOU!!
*****
Hello! :) That is very very cool.... I was thinking video wouldn't last for hours!
DovahSloth
Aw yeah :)
swegalicious :)
Killiney Bay is always fantastic :-)
I was in Dublin about a year ago and I still can't get it out of my memory. I seriously think about moving in there
Proud to be Irish
Same
@@3bu9rblx i would be proud too but I'm not hahah T.T
Where is the open drug dealing and the roaming gangs of junkies on O`Connoll St! And yes i am from Dublin.
An emotional National resurrection from a son scattered long ago. Mother has her pull even though you don't consider us Irish. As an American of Irish descent, so many of us are so proud of you and how a small country endured and we're proud of how we endured and" Made it" in new land across the globe. Don't lose your heart, spirit, ways, songs as I think many places in the world admire and love you for who you are and the storm you came out of. You smile! You Irish smile! Of course, we are by no means the only to be subject to adversity. Perhaps I'm biased but I see a proud, happy people!
This is just brilliant! Not from Dublin but you usually only hear about the bad things that happen there. This video captures beautifully the other side of Dublin, go h-álainn! :)
Beautifully captured and shot, makes me proud to be a Dub.
dublin are idiots
+Megan Diggins yeah sure, says the one who can't even use proper grammar...
+K-Nine4K says who
+Megan Diggins You cant stereo-type everyone like that, its like saying that everyone in limerick is a criminal (for example) even though thats not true, so cop on you fool
Ok. I feel nostalgic now. I'll never forget Dublin, as far as I live on this planet earth...
A short year friend but have to say
180 Secs Of Magic
t4s don't forget the night life folks lol >> Express yourself (what people do when they drunk). Nightlife. Temple Bar, Dublin. Real Irish accent.
After 2 years in Dublin, where I met friends for live, Ireland will always be in my heart. Happy St. Patricks the 17th of March. Hopefully I´ll be going this 2014
I'm swedish and I moved to London a couple of years ago. I love this city but I'm not sure if I can stay here forever. If you have ever lived in London you know what I mean. I am however thinking of moving to Ireland and whenever I hear something about Dublin or see a beautiful video like this about Dublin, my heart beats extra hard. I don't know why because I have never been in Dublin but that doesn't matter because I am sure that I would love it there.
If you wanna move for the sites the scenery or the countrysides by all means come to Ireland but if its for a job I wouldn't recommend it.
why not?
well the economy isn't the best and we have a 12% unemployment rate and its very very slowly getting better
If you haven't already been to Dublin, go! Go as soon as you can! Even if you don't live there, just go and enjoy the city... Enjoy the rest of Ireland, too! I love it there!
Dublin is ok but like most capital cities its not very much like the rest of the country. London or Paris for example, they are quite unique to other places in their respective countries. You would have a decent chance of getting a job in Dublin but rent is crazy expensive. Galway and Cork are much nicer cities in my opinion. They are smaller and represent our culture much better. I don't like Dublin at all but i have lots of foreign friends who live there and they seem to love it.If you live in London you could fly to Dublin in no time at all ,even for just a weekend break. You have no excuse not to :D. Dublin is fairly easy to get around and does have quite a lot to do for tourists
I can't wait to move back to Ireland, and Dublin. It is the most wonderful place that I have ever visited......and I have lived in many countries.
Great job!

Well done, really nice job. I love my home town.
Fantastic job, as an adopted Dubliner I have thoroughly enjoyed this and I think it does the city justice. Thanks for this !
Reminds me to be proud of not only being Irish, but also a Dub.
wow fucking wow
very moving
Like most Irish people, i have a love/hate relationship with my country/city of Dublin, but this video really makes me love it all over again!!!......(for now!!). Also, confirms to me that rugby really is the best ball game in the world.....especially since Ireland has just won the 2014 Six Nations!!!!!
I'll love Dublin and IE for ever! ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥
This is so great. Well done. Love it, Love Dublin. Dirty ol town, but a great town.

Ronan Doherty I'm not Irish but, I'd like I were. What an amazing place. I intend to spend at least one year ~or more~ in that wonderful country!

Hi I love your video!!! How can you film time lapse videos like this one? Which camera do you use? please answer me
Makes me so proud and happy
For a year, the video only covered a tiny, tiny amount of the things that make Dublin a great and beautiful city. Really it only covered Landowne Road, Croker, the Spire apart, the Liffey area east of the Custom House and some wide shots of the city.
What about Christchurch, Kilmainham (Jail & Royal Hospital), Dame St/College Green (Old House of Parliment, Trinity & Dublin Castle. Stephens Green/ Merrion Square. St James Gate. Phoenix Park/Dublin Zoo/Aras an Uachtarain. Casino in Marino.....
And thats just the big stuff, loads and loads of wonderful old buidings, a sunny Sunday on Dun Laighaire Pier. The Theatres, Art, Moore Street Mkt.
I'm not a Dub, but it's got waay more going on than a few sports and gigs and half dozen nice buildings...

Hey Zooko,
I'm form Lovin Dublin & I was wondering if you would mind if I shard this video on our facebook page?
We will be sure to credit your youtube channel!
Thanks,
Éadaoin
Hey sorry for the delay we are not here that often! yes, of course you can use it.
Y si puediera simplemente elegir el
Video y la canción perfecta, sería esta. Amo viajar, amo conocer cosas nuevas y sobre todo amo que outro sea el soundtrack de los mejores momentos de mi vida. Es perfecto! Gracias.
You did the impossible. You made Dublin look nice! However, there's a distinct lack of Ballymun footage, that might be why.
the best video EVER
HI Zooko, I'm interested in using some of the shots in the above video for a project I'm working on, we have a small budget and I'd be happy to make a payment for permission to use them, can you email me at filmcircle@gmail.com if this is of interest. Thanks
Name of the song?
Brilliant vid! It was so great, that it sent shivers down my spine! Im from Dublin and it was great to see it in the beauty i sometimes dont see! I have a channel for photography myself and was really inspired by this video! Maybe you could check it out at Live4photos !
I love where the Dart passes by Booterstown. I lived in St.Helen's, which is now a 5star, hotel. In1957 it was the Novitiate for The Irish Christian Brothers.
I came to Dublin 15 years ago......and never left....
Beautiful town, great place to live...Love it.
Great Job, great video. My only criticism is that the music chosen wasn't from an Irish artist. There's plenty of great ones out there try Breaking Tunes.
For the past few years I have been coming back to this video and always makes me smile. You really captured the city's energy which is what I love you get to see everything in this video and the music suits it really well. Great camera shots as well, rooftop ones are cool
Been everywhere there
Beautiful video! Well done. Dublin never looked so good!
Nice work! :)
I absolutely LOVE Dublin, it was one of the best trips of my life. Wish I could live there!!!

Great job guys. Amazing looking time lapse. Great song choice too. Would love to see more videos like that.
Thank you for taking me back to the city I lived in for five months. Your photography is gorgeous.
Very well done lads and real pro it must have been a lot of work but it paid off in the end congrats. My son is living in Bordeaux and there is a simular video of Bordeaux and that also is brilliant.
Great video lads!
I still come back to this every now and again. I rememeber that year, we were still coming out of recession and maybe we were all a litte more sound for it. Maybe.
Dublin born and bred, love my county, my country and the people in it.
Beautiful video, job well done.
Beautiful video.
Even nicer than the Bord Failte Ireland Inspires video.
Well done.
Dublin's an amazing city but don't tell my fellow Corkonians I said that :D
Great stuff!
What song is this? Brilliant video, anyway. Makes me want to go to Dublin again.
Our different point of view about Dublin! :)
What Do You Expect From Dublin?
This city is the most beautiful city in the world
