These Honda Jets are just beautiful. I am amazed that Honda did something so gorgeous, yet so functional and hi tec. I hope someone would give me a ride one of these days. May your sky always be clear Sir. Salute.
Thank you for sharing that flight with us. I remember getting my private certificate with the help of flight school at FRG IN EARLY 90’s Flighways. I like your short final routine 250 agl. Auto pilot off and hear down. Keep those videos coming with checklist lol.
These Honda Jets are my favorite light jet ever. Just amazing technology. I hope they can make one that bigger, soon. It's be nice to see one that could hold more passengers.
Agreed!! Flys sooooo good! Thx for watching! BTW, they are making a bigger one. They announced that and I have seen the mockup. Absolutely beautiful. It will go 2,600NM at 450 knots.
I agree. Though, on most days, the view from the plane to anywhere is beautiful. What do you fly? Any well maintained plane is a good plane in my view.
@@ioptimizerealty So true!! I fly a 17S and also a Piper Saratoga a few times. My goal is to fly a low wing on a regular basis. My dream is to sit right seat in any large plane. Enjoy the flying!
Love their videos! I have spoken with Greg (Premier 1 Driver) and I think he likes the HondaJet. He and CitationMax are my UA-cam mentors. I watch all their videos. Steveo was one of the first and has excellent videos worth watching.
Jim they aren't small. They are really good. I have compared them to other jets. Check out the seats in a Phenom 100 and you will see the difference. Honda, being a car company, knew how to design the seats. Thx Don
Steven, you are correct. Be assured that when I was below 10k' I was below 250 knots indicated. However, I might have been going much faster over the ground because of a tail wind. So, the 250 knot limit is indicated speed, not speed over the ground.
Sure does. ATC knew the number as it was already in the flight plan which I filed digitally. Thank you for watching. We will start posting more flights soon. 😎
So, not quite accurate on the squak code, the squak is actually morse code assigned to be a backup in case your radio went out. The other part, it does not do the transmitting of data, that would be your transponder. Modes 1-etc. Great video otherwise! =) Avionics spec , F35.
Nick, the "Squawk Code" refers to the code you put in the transponder. It uniquely identifies your plane to ATC and it has nothing to do with morse code. I think you are thinking of the ADF, VOR and ILS systems. They broadcast their identifiers in morse code. Frankly, with GPS, there isn't much need for these anymore, except ILS. Now, with ADSB, they have additional information about you on that "tag" on their radar screens. They know your altitude, speed, and direction. Thx, Don
VR stands to rotation speed. So, just like V1, I call it out to myself. You can fly the way you want to, but my internal comments are they to help me. Thx for watching!
Good ride, can't beat an hour and five!
The view isn't bad either✈️
Thanks for watching!
Thanks, from Greensboro! I used to be based at GSO for Piedmont Airlines back in the glory days.
Very cool! I like KGSO as an airport too. The HondaJet facility there is unbelievable. Ultra clean and organized. Nice folks too.

Couldn't agree more! Thanks for watching!
Fantastic! I’m always impressed at how efficient and professional pilots and ATC are. Everyone has a job to do, and they don’t mess around!
It really is fascinating!. Thanks for watching Sawyer!
Single pilot IFR on an aircraft this sophisticated is nuts. Thirty years of flying commercial jets is all I can base this on.
The Honda Jet is built to make single pilot IFR legs like this!
Why do you think that JD ?
I'm impressed with the Honda Jet. Thanks for posting.
You and me both!
Very nice. Always good when the wind is right down the runway. Makes your landing look good for passengers.
Yes, it does, but with practice, I have done the same in up to 20 knot cross winds. I practiced that in the simulator, flying on one engine. 😄
What smooth, comfortable ride in the HondaJet. Many thanks.
You bet!

We're planning on many other videos and improving upon each one, thx for the input Frank!
Nice video Don.
Always good to have you at the center for recurrent.
Enjoy the flying.
Thank you. I love coming to Flight Safety and HondaJet.
Very detailed narrative of the flight, I appreciate that. Thanks for the ride on that mighty fine Honda Jet.
More to come! And Christy, is there anything else you'd like us to. show in the next one.
Beautiful video, thank you for taking us along. Love the HondaJet!
Glad you enjoyed it! Let us know if there is something you'd like to see in the future.
the charter service i use the honda is the fav by far--it is booked all the time so getting it is hard
It’s the best, Thx for watching!
Thank you for uploading - - this is a fantastic learning video. 🙂👍🏼
Glad it was helpful! Is there anything you'd like us to focus on in the future?

Done! Thx for Watching.
Stay tuned as we see that people want to see more and we will be publishing more flights soon.
Nice for busniss fligth now, make for battre to inovation again
The HondaJet company is amazing, i'm sure they will continue to innovate. Thx for watching!
Really enjoyed this! Hope to see you around KFRG. I fly a citation and a 182
I hope so too, Thanks for watching!
Well, it's a Honda so that is what you get. Nice.
Thank you Jack. That's the way I have felt. The Honda name stands for quality and this jet just shows that in every way. Don
honda is honda...the best
We really like the Honda Company, great people.
nice flight!
Thank you Big Al. Let me know if you would like to see anything in future videos.
Beautiful flight
As a pilot (albeit a much smaller plane, lol) I never get tired of the view flying the LI coast.
I agree. Though, on most days, the view from the plane to anywhere is beautiful. What do you fly? Any well maintained plane is a good plane in my view.

Vroom Vroom! 🏁
turn on a dime n give you 9 cents change...hahaha....peace
😂🤣🤣 You’re not wrong lol!
How did you add the telemetry data to the video??
App called telemetry overlay
Retired B777 Captain here...will it autoland a CAT 3 approach?
Bobby, no. It's Cat 1 authorized. That said, the Garmin GPS is so good, I wouldn't be surprised if you could do a Cat 2 (if it was authorized).
i would like to see you take, the youtubers "steveo1kinevo" and "premier 1 driver" to hear what they think of what looks like a very good airplane.
Love their videos! I have spoken with Greg (Premier 1 Driver) and I think he likes the HondaJet. He and CitationMax are my UA-cam mentors. I watch all their videos. Steveo was one of the first and has excellent videos worth watching.
Seats look a little small
They certainly look small in our videos, but they are very comfortable. Thx for watching!

Is it correct to assume that the Speed of 250K under 10000, yet this jet was hauling ass and never heard ATC say a word
Steven, you are correct. Be assured that when I was below 10k' I was below 250 knots indicated. However, I might have been going much faster over the ground because of a tail wind. So, the 250 knot limit is indicated speed, not speed over the ground.
doens't the plane have a november number?
Sure does. ATC knew the number as it was already in the flight plan which I filed digitally.

Also, squak codes like 7700 and others like it identify to a tower without communication that there is an issue. Specific issues for specific squaks.

✈️ Way better Peter! lol, thx for watching!
