Belle is beautiful just the way she is. I hope her new way of eating isn't because she is unhappy with her body. ♡ If Belle ever sees this I hope she know she was fearfully and wonderfully made, she is perfect the way she is. But I say all that to say if eating different makes her feel good than awesome ♡ God Bless

Egg wraps are really easy to make. They are basically really thin scrambled eggs. I make them all the time. You can use the whole egg or just egg whites. Here is basically how it works, make as many or as few as you want:
    1. Heat a small skillet over medium heat. Grease with butter or oil.
    2. In a bowl, crack one egg and mix well with a fork.
    3. Pour into a hot pan and tilt pan to spread egg into a large circle on the bottom of the pan.
    4. Let cook 30 seconds. (Sprinkle with seasonings if desired)
    5. Carefully flip with a large spatula and let cook another 30 seconds.
    6. Remove from pan and repeat with as many eggs as desired.
    7. Let egg wraps cool slightly (or fully), top as desired with fillings, roll and serve warm or cold.
You can make some in advance and store in the fridge a ziptop bag (or an airtight storage container) with parchment paper in between for a few days

My family of 6 raised several cows to eat as I grew up. Best beef, ever!! I love that you encourage all of your kids to healthfully but I do worry a bit about Belle eating low carb. She is prime age to develop eating issues, even though I know that is the last thing you are trying to do. I purchase 50 to 60 rock hard Avocados from Aldi’s when they are on sale. I keep 6 in a basket on my counter and put the rest in the refrigerator. When I use one from the basket I replace it with one out of the refrigerator. Rarely do I have one spoil. I do this when they cost 50 cents or less. I must stress they need to be bright green & rock hard no soft spots. If you’re skeptical of doing this start out small using 10 avocados with 2 on counter. Since they are rock hard it will take a few days before the first ones are ready to use. I’ve been doing this for over 20 yrs. When we lived in California I was given a gunny sack full of Avocados & when I said I would never be able to use them before they spoil I was asked “haven’t you ever heard of cold storage”. So that’s how I began storing my Avocados.

Recipe Pastor Sarah and kids. 1 can salmon or tuna, 2 eggs, chopped fine onion [green or other variety], Italian blend bread crumbs 1 cup, mix well and form burgers. Each can makes 2-3 burgers. On bun add grilled onion, white cheese or yellow[ ie. mozzarella, Swiss, provolone, cheddar] add mayo or butter to bun or salad dressing or plain, slice tomato, sliced avocado. Cook your burgers in small amount of butter or oil on low heat, you can grill them also. When they are browned on both sides continue to cook slowly for 20 minutes on low heat. You can add pickles to your plate or burger and celery, you can add chips as a side. If you have time while burgers are on grill or pan in the last few minutes add your cheese to bring on the melt, top with the grilled onion and then place directly on your prepared topped bun. Sarah congratulations on your churches growth and thanks for having me over to your home to meet the kids and Solo. It has been a while since we visited but I enjoy this recipe so will you. Carrot sticks are a cool idea. Crystal light and pure water bottled make into some sweet frozen drinks just as good as popsicles also freeze your bananas, 2 for each serving and when you remove the frozen banana add any fruit, blueberry, strawberry, blackberry, pineapple, and blend. Choose 1 fruit per serving and blend it till it is like butter. Makes a real good frozen snack.Add one scoop of any ice cream or frozen yogart and you will be completely satisfied or eat it plain. I LOVE YOU IN CHRIST. Sandra their Michelle

Not sure it will help, but just in March, our less than 2 yr old upright freezer was left open overnight, most things had started thawing. We removed n borrowed my sister's at her house. We left unplugged for 2-3 days, used lots of hot water and a fan to thaw out coils, cleaned it out, then plugged back in. Is working great now. Everything freezes up when left open, then the horror begins. Try if u havn't already and good luck!

Then add pimentos, cheese, ham and spinach roll it up and cut at an angle. Ranch spread ( pack dry ranch and sour cream). Cheese whatever you want. Ham or any other kind of meat you want. It is sooo easy and sooo good. Cauliflower steamed and mix you up some mayonnaise and mustard put on the cauliflower after it is steamed. Omgosh!!!!!

And yes if you cut everything right away you will feel sick. And it is kind of funny that all the doctors don’t want you to eat this way because it will make you healthier and this is the way they used to eat back in the 18 and 1900s. You can make egg lace wraps by winking up eggs n little milk etc then put in a sauce bottle with thin nozzle and drizzle the egg on a hot pan crisscrossing it all over. It will be nice n thin and crispy. Devine. Also a great pancake recipe I use for us diabetics, PANCAKE: 1/2 cup plain flour, 1/2 cup self raising flour, 1 1/2 cups milk and 1 egg. Makes 2 fat pancakes of about 5-6 smaller ones for us. This way I can enjoy my sugar and lemon topping as a treat.

If you want no sugar added balsamic glaze, put balsamic vinegar in a saucepan and reduce. Stir and keep an eye on it. It will burn if left unattended. It taste delicious

Thanks for posting these often. I only have four children 8,9,12, & 17. I went to Sam's recently and the woman behind me in line asked what I was going to do with all of that produce. 😳 I told her how I store it, thinking that is what she meant. She then said she raised 5 grandkids and had never purchased that much produce. I felt a little weird. I didn't mention we are also growing 2 gardens. With all of the work involved with farming and swimming every day, my kids can EAT! 😂 I freeze milk to always have it on hand because we don't live close to town. I get a lot of looks when I buy 12 gallons at a time. Anyway I love seeing what you buy and thanks for making me feel so much more normal! You have such a beautiful family. I wish my kids got along as well as yours. God bless you!

If you want that balsamic glazey texture, but are avoiding sugar, put the regular balsamic in a pan and reduce it a bit! Works perfectly, just keep an eye on it to not burn 👌🏻

Those Atkins treats are made using malitol as the sugar substitute. Just be aware that it is almost as high as sugar on the glycemic index & might spike your blood sugar like regular sugar. Might be why they tasted so good! 😆

I'm always so excited to see your grocery hauls! May I suggest dried beans, rice, flavored waters, pasta and sauces for your long term pantry.
I store my beans, rice and pasta in half gallon Mason jars, that I vacuum sealed, in my walk in closet I turned into my pantry. Also a good thing to add to your long term pantry is paper products (plates, paper towels, toilet paper), First Aid supplies and sanitary items and soaps.
I never thought I'd see a time like we are experiencing but it has shown me where my long term items are weak.. Praying for better days ahead!

Avocados freeze really well. You can put the entire, whole avocado in the freezer and when you want to use one take it out the night before and put it the fridge or take it out in the morning and set on the counter. You can also mash them and freeze them in a freezer bag.

Low carb treat...I have no idea what it is called, but you take 1 large container of cottage cheese and mix 1-2 (taste preference) boxes of sugar free jello and 1 container of cool whip. Let it sit in the refrigerator for at least an hour. I like the orange jello, and I add mandarin oranges. You can do any flavor with or without fruit. Enjoy! ❤

Not saying that belle has an eating disorder, but I know the first thing I restricted and the thing I was most afraid of eating when I was deep in my own disorder (at around Belle's age) was carbs. It took about a month of therapy and nutritional counseling to get me to eat pasta, and 6 months to not hate myself after. Teaching children to avoid a very important (carbs are our body's preferred energy source!! Unless you have a significant amount of superficial body fat, your body will take from muscle and protein that you eat before essential fat stores!) food group isnt really promoting health, its villainizing food, something we should cherish and respect.
