But how do you define ok? If you are going to label certain things as not ok, doesn't that imply that the universe will never be ok? Is it reasonable to put yourself against an idea or resent something while knowing that the thing you resent will always exist and have its effects?
The point of this video я верю is that suffering is inevitable, and ultimately every person (you also) contribute to it. Is it better to spend all of your effort making things closer to ultimate good, or should you recognize that ultimate good does not exist in our universe?
Also, if we contribute to evil and suffering, should we spend our times fixing others or fixing ourselves?
@@murraymoore7784 the line between okay and not okay is subjective and blurry. Just because you don't like what I did doesn't mean someone else wouldn't love it.
@@skm9420 that's my point: the phrase 'not ok' is entirely subjective, and everyone thinks of different things as 'not ok'. Even if we look at ourselves as innocent, other people will feel hurt by us without us knowing. If we say that to cause suffering is 'not ok' we must be sure that we are not ourselves causing suffering-- and I think we are. This is why I responded to the comment. In reality, I would say that there is nothing truly 'not ok,' or that everything is fine. We ought to live knowing that we are constantly chaotic, and if we see someone else doing wrong, it is a reminder that they are just like us and that we spend our live doing wrong as well.

Not caring (believing everything is ok) is a slippery slope. It's what demotivates those who try to bring change and fight against the evilness (as you describe), and ultimately this is what leads to greater suffering for people on the whole. Besides, no-one can accept things the way they are, because, like it or not, things are always changing and everyone's got to adapt! One day you could be causing suffering, the next bringing happiness, so, hey presto, you gotta adapt...

From my point of view… in life, in history, we move forward as a civilization with waves that create eddies… some are caught in the undertow, others cling to already outdated contrary currents… but some already see the great wave that will carry the world towards its future... and it is in this wave that our consciousness should move, the one that builds and directs the world... if we want the world to become better, to transform and to promote the best inclinations of our nature, it is up to us to build it… feelings of hatred and sadness are places of wandering… the wave that forms, if we take it, if we join others like us who are weaving at this very moment the future... in the present... it's not only there that you find great people, your own life mission and joy... in a creative energy stripped of the emotions of sordid events and horrors that are already an outdated world... of course you need fighters in todays events to contain the monsters... but if that affects us too much, it means that we are more of those who have to take the wave that goes to forge ahead and at full speed... Take the wave !
